Kolrosing a Dandelion. Decorating Wood With a Tip of a Knife. Traditional Craft.

Decided to do a video of pretty much the whole process, narrated as I work, no fancy edits. Just me working and mumbling what comes to mind.

I think you channel is great, not boring, I'm just getting into spoonmaking, after quite a few years bowmaking and knifemaking!! I love the look of the kolrosing , been practising on some pine offcuts, like everything there is a learning curve. Would you consider doing a vid on the basketweave pattern, there are some out there but I find them a bit hard to follow, keep up the good work..

Thank you. Glad you like the channel. I think you can see the basket weave kolrosing as part of some of my kolrosing videos. You can also check out my Instagram account dane.licina. Lots of stuff there too. I do a straight and more complex basket weave. Start with the straight one. There is a bit of a learning curve but as with everything it's in repetition. Use scrap wood and have fun. Carve on 👍
