    I learned so much about these seeds from Curly Proverbs. I use them in my oils and just started using the water last year. I soak them overnight them add hibiscus tea and aloe vera juice to a spray bottle. Sometimes I add essential oils. I use this over the course of 5days stored in the refrigerator. I love how it defines my curls and I can feel it strengthening my hair. If course I follow up with a leave in conditioner, oil and my shea butter to seal it all in. Love ur videos btw Queen 😘😘😘❣❣❣❣❣

    I literally have this soaking on my counter; since Monday lol. I soak my seeds in aloe vera juice tho, not water. Once I strain it, I just put it in my spray bottles to use on my hair. I grind the soaked seeds up with more aloe vera juice and fresh aloe vera gel, Ayurvedic powders/herbs, oils and essential oils and make that into a paste to use and then freeze for prepoos and deep conditioning. I don’t follow no certain recipe since everything I combine, all have nutrients and properties that benefit my hair. I just pay close attention to what my hair needs and apply my treatments accordingly. My hair regimen consists of 90% my Ayurvedic diy’s with natural remedies and 10% store bought products that I mainly use for styling.

    The easiest incorporation for me is with my black rice water. I steep 2 tbs of both overnight in a cup of water and use the liquid in a spray bottle every day til it’s gone. Rinse repeat. Usually I’ll have a streak of 6-8 weeks, then I might forget or fall off for 1-2 weeks before resuming.
    I stopped using this spray for 3 months consistently while I was trying out straight and protective styles. Now that I’m back to a routine, got my fenugreek & black rice water spray! It is EXCELLENT as a refresher, prepoo, or light moisturizer for styling. Not to mention all the growth and manageability bonuses! Tangles where???😍

      True some ppl smell curry and others smell pancakes. I smell pancakes. I also wonder if it's the brand? Because everyone around me always gets the pancake/maple syrup scent and never the curry. So maybe some brands harvest it in a way that gives it a sweeter vs saltier smell. Almost like clear castor oil vs black castor oil. Or yellow vs ivory shea butter. I have no idea but it's very interesting.

      Hey sorry for the delay but I would say about a week in the fridge or you can freeze the extra in ice trays to last a bit longer. Appreciate you watching! Hope you stick around!

    Add essential oils to take away the smell, rosemary, orange. You can also drink fenugreek water without the oils of course.

    hello i am new to your channel.. I need to ask, could i not use the water when soaking. But could i use olive or almond oil then soak and strain them? Sometimes water on my hair causes shrinkage. Pleae let me know if using oil will be ok?

    • @jessu3064

      You would have to let it sit for at least two weeks to a month if you want the properties of the fenugreek to infuse into the oil....you could also heat it up in a saucepan with your oil of choice for about 15 mins this will help the seeds to infuse faster in the oil. After hearing it up allow it to cool and then pour the seeds with the oil into a glass jar and let it sit for 7 days. Hope this help.

      You may just be allergic or sensitive to the high protein in fenugreek seeds. everything is not for everybody. But there are other alternative hair growth ingredients all over CZcams. Good luck

    I have never used fenugreek seeds. I have watched curly proverbs videos regarding fenugreek seeds but never thought to use them since I am unsure if it okay to use for low porosity hair. I would definitely love to try fenugreek seeds since my hair is extremely dry, I have dandruff issues and recently had a big abscess to the side of my head that left me bald which is so embarrassing. If anyone could help to provide if it is okay for people with low porosity hair and provide how often it can be utilized into my hair routine. Thanks.

      I’m low porosity...fenugreek is the best! It’s was the 1st herb I used and continue to use, hair mask, AVJ with seeds or powder to soak! Ayurvedic herbs are a game changer💯

      @@Afrolatinalexi thank you for letting me know low porosity can use it too with no issues. I just get skeptic since I have had many issues with my hair and trying to get it to grow. It has been stuck at mid neck length for over 3 years. What kind of AVJ is good since I would like to order both soon?

      @007Taylor Před 2 lety +6

      @ katressa...be careful using fenugreek water on low porosity, protein sensitive hair. It's high in protein. If used too often it can indeed cause protein overload and damage long healthy hair making it brittle, hard and matted if not de-tangled daily. It happened to a CZcamsr who had to cut off her waist length hair because of it. I stick to drinking it instead of putting it on my hair.
