You can buy it in powder form as well, that lends better to making a paste/mask. My local Indian store sells both so I always have it on hand. As far as masks I like to mix up, henna glosses and bentonite clay masks are my go-tos.

The possibilities are endless for fenugreek, sometimes I take the seeds , olive oil, avocado oil, grape seed oil & coconut oil & add them to a crockpot heat on high then low until it’s fully infused. I use as a hot oil treatment on washday & it’s great,

Hot water is key. I take 2 spoon fulls of seeds. Place in a jar. Add boiling hot water. Let sit over night. Drink that water and eat some of the seeds. Take the rest of the seeds add more hot water and blend that. Yours was tooooo thick. You’ll get that baby food consistency with more hot water. I do that daily. I keep my hair in braids, apply the mask and rinse out the next day. Let my hair air dry, add grease to my ends and repeat. I’ll add all kinds of stuff to my masks but yea.

I think a big barrier to more natural/herbal treatments is a high likelihood of messiness or inconvenience. An ounce of preparation is worth a pound of correction.
Finely blend your home concoctions with the purée setting on blenders/food processors, and adequately dilute and not overpacking the appliance. Double strain with a fine mesh. And don’t be shy to double strain again if you still feel even a little bit of grittiness. The smoother the application, the smoother the rinse out.
A super slippery conditioner helps too. I use V05 Kiwi conditioner after all powder/clay/herbal treatments because it can get all the particles to slide right out of my hair.
    *Nut milk bags are life!*
I would even say a nice delicates bag is a better option than cheesecloth (Target has one with a fine mesh that costs ~$5. I double that and I make bath teas all the time. Literally, make a teabag for your bathtub. Soak in all that herbal goodness, and take all the plant bits with you with no risk of clogging your drains.)
    Love this vid!❤️❤️
