FENUGREEK OIL:
Glass/plastic container
30ml fenugreek seed
Carrier oil: either coconut +olive oil, castor oil, avocado oil, olive oil, grape seed oil.
Store in dark cupboard for 10 days
After 10 days it should have Golden brown color and maple syrup scent
FENUGREEK WATER:
4 tbsp seeds
Quarter of the pot in water
brew for 10-15mins
Let cool before use
Optional: add 10-15 drops of rosemary essential oil
Store in fridge
FENUGREEK HAIR MASK:
Boil seeds until soft in low water
Strain seeds
Blend seeds in full fat yoghurt/milk
Blend until consistency is like chia seeds
Store in fridge 2-3 hours until it thickens
Add 2tbsp water and olive oil before use
It's better to use powdered fenugreek to infused in the oil, using seed for the infusion wouldn't extract much from it. That's what I use for my hair. And I also drink fenugreek tea. My relaxed hair is touching my tailbone
I bought some fenugreek capsules from the drug store and I just pop them open into my conditioner and scalp oils and good to go 😊🙌🏾

@@makedanyahuma555 I put two spoons of powder in my oil then double boil on low heat for 30mins, then leave it to infuse more after a day or two and the oil is ready. Just seive and store the oil
If you don’t want to cook the fenugreek for the water...just add the seeds to a glass jar+ cold water and wait a day. DONE!or until The water turns yellow. Whether it’s the powder or the seeds foe the hair mask YOU HAVE TO SIEVE IT.

I add aloe Vera juice to fenugreek seeds.
Fenugreek is life for me. I use the oil mask and water. After straining the seeds when i infused i blend the seeds with aloe vera gel and flax seed gel, put the mixture in a stockings and i get a smooth misture as my mask. No residue is left in my hair after i apply. Fenugreek is the best.

I usually just allow the seeds to ferment in water over night, then spray it onto my hair, detangle and let it sit for an hour before I proceed to wash it.
Thank you for the video. Whether I make a mask or infuse an oil I found that investing in a coffee grinder & mesh bags I use to make almond milk perfect to get a smooth final consistency.

You can use a pantyhose to strain the blended fenugreek mixture, thus avoiding having pieces of seeds stuck to your hair.

bottle. I had no idea it was suppose to be refrigerated, but finished it in 5 days, next time I'll have to add essential oils in it

It's easier to just strain the hair mask with a nut milk bag after blending. I use coconut milk for the mask. Good video 😊

I really like your 3 methods, I will definitely give them go and keep you posted on my results. For the last 3 weeks I’ve made Star Ansie and Fenugreek also Amla infused oil, I’ve seen a big difference but my hair is still shredding and hair is falling out but I have noticed it’s reducing though. What I have noticed with my hair journey trail and error with oils. I pray for my hair to thicken and look healthy. Thanks for sharing your tips and video.

Yes it's natural why not
You boil the seeds. Then use that boiled water once cooled. You let the goodness come out of the seeds when its boiled. You cant leave it in as u will start to smell like pan cakes. So leave in for an hour or two then wash it out with normal shampoo.
You should've mixed it with aloe vera the funegreek water would've been more effective

To make the oil, can you use the seeds that were soaked in water to make the water or does it have to be dry and fresh?
I wouldn’t recommend re-using the seeds soaked in water to make fenugreek oil. Once soaked in water the seeds swell up in size & release most of its nutrients. Also ‘oil & water’ do not mix, so seeds soaked in water will not mix well when infused in oil. Dry and fresh seeds are ideal for fenugreek oil.

I literally just watched a video right before this and that hair CZcams said only 5 days in fridge. Toss after 5 days or it can get rancid

We would suggest you store the mask for only 24hrs as it has all natural ingredients.
The seeds can be left infused in the oil till it’s used up
I've recently started using the fenugreek water and mask. I added castor oil to the mask as well as aloe Vera plant. Its really making a difference. I've tried drinking some of the water too as they say that's supposed to help as well. It does smell maple syrupy but I also smell celery at times 🤷🏽♀️

I drank tea made with the water that was leftover from my hair rinse 😋 I want to note that i believe it also made my pms more extreme so I’ve since stopped taking it. The results were insane tho , I grew about 3” since June🤗

Lol I think you might be using a bit too much. We use just a few pumps and massage it into our scalp & body of hair

Ive been talking about it lol 😂 it’s definitely an acquired smell hahaha I made an oil the first time I used it and I was MAD at the air 😩🙈 Like, you know how aromatherapy is supposed to help calm you down and relieve stress? This did the opposite, smh I felt so offended. I slept all night trying not to breathe and I couldn’t wait to wake up and do a load of laundry for my sheets, hair scarf, pillow case, everything that ass water touched 😵💫🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I tried to dilute it with other oils to mask the smell but that just left me with a bigger batch I didn’t want to waste 🤯😩 Phew chile! 😭 Fast fwd to about 3 months later- it’s tolerable in small amounts 😆🤷🏽♀️

Are you also moisturizing the lengths and ends? That for me was a whole game changer, as I didn’t realize/ couldn’t figure out why my hair plateaued. I literally just thought it was done growing, like eyebrows that reach a certain length. Nope it was because my ends were breaking off on a daily, from brushing up against my shoulders/hoodie/jacket. Your growth is probably fast but the breakage is happening just as fast- that’s probably why. Try a deep condish every few days (I leave it in bc who’s gonna stop me)- you should notice a difference in a couple of weeks ☺️☺️
