Summary: Aaron's in turmoil as he's charged with ABH, while Jackson refuses to listen to his excuses. Chas chastises Aaron for being a homophobic thug but she's shell-shocked when Paddy later reveals the reason behind Aaron's actions. Later, Aaron's inconsolable when Paddy admits that he told Chas and Marlon the truth about his sexuality. With that, Aaron storms out, ignoring Paddy's pleas to face up to the truth. Alone, Aaron's unable to cope with the prospect of everyone knowing his secret and as he locks himself in the garage, he turns on the car's engine. Will anybody find Aaron before it's too late?

The things Chas said were completely uncalled for especially when she called Aaron a coward - she didn't know the full picture yet but still Aaron's her son and you could see how much that hurt him when she said that.
She has stuck by him through everything. He slept with Victoria when she was underage; he tried to kill Carl, and he battered Paddy. This was the final straw.
Damn. Danny Miller is such an amazing actor. He can turn those waterworks on so easily! He should definitely win the British equivalent to an emmy!
As much as I'm trying to feel sorry for Chas the things she says to Aaron aren't things any mother should say to their child, she goes beyond reprimanding him or giving him a stern talking to and ventures into verbal abuse. She's already given him plenty of reasons to doubt her love for him through her actions, she shouldn't pile it on with the words too.
koriikorii How would you feel if you thought your son was a homophobe? John Barton said some pretty awful things when Holly was on drugs, but he didn't mean them.
Danny Miller is brilliant in this role - what a lucky role for him - the writers are working over time with such an accurate portrait of a teenager in crisis. Dominic Brunt is perfect as well with these two this is serious acting and extremely entertaining and moving. Keep up the good work

Did anyone else notice that Thomas grew up really quickly? He looked about eight years old in early 2010, but he was a teenager by late 2012. Was Sorased or was he just miscast originally?
AAron punching Jackson was out of order but you can see from his relationship with his mum that he's already a bit screwed up. still he should just come out! XO

Chas did nothing wrong. I'm sorry but she didn't. She was left in the dark throughout this whole thing and had no idea why Aaron just went mental at Jackson. Nobody told her that Aaron was in the closet and terrified of being gay. The things she said to Aaron - she would have never said them, had she known he was simply gay.

now that i've watched the episode after reading the comments Chas is def correct. he is not a real man he is a coward. No pun intended. He beat Paddy because of it and now the guy that he likes and likes him. Kind of like the LA Complex show.

Danny Miller - you are a fantastic actor, well done Sir. . The Jackson storyline was excellent too, shame the dumb writers wrote him out so soon, he could easily have run for years, leading the LGBT narrative in mainstream tv. Guess they just couldn't resist following ALL THE REST in gay storylines must always end badley. Dumb as fck... Kudos to Marc Silcock, another great actor.
Please someone can tell me that another soap couple left the actor Chas? I know I've seen somewhere else but I can not remember.

whys everyone hating on Chaz his mom? She was exactly the same as my mother, they often dont understand, and i also know mothers whos sons and daughters dont live in their house but live with someone else in their street, chaz is worried at end of the day and damn right she should be shoutin at aron for hitting people! gay or not- a mother should teach him how to behave and layin into him- is damn bloody right!

Wow. I couldn't POSSIBLY see any reason why you'd want to be with someone like Aaron. His mother is completely right, he is a coward. I've been through worse in my life, including outing myself as gay, and I cannot understand why on earth anybody would do this... except for the reason of being a careless coward. I mean, c'mon, get over it. People who hurt others just because they can't cope with their own issues seriously make me sick. Furious and sick. Poor Paddy.

@PlatypusRising55 People say things they don't mean when they're angry. In the heat of the moment. Whatever. She clearly loves Aaron, regardless of the things she's said in the past. And maybe she isn't heping that much, but she's trying. And since Aaron talks to everyone like they're rubbish, it's not surprising he gets spoken to like it!
