'Beyond the Horizon’ is a collection of airs I have composed, drawing
inspiration from the theme of emigration and the accompanying feelings of sadness, loss and hope.
Inchmery overlooks a stretch of water known as The Solent, at the entrance to Southampton port in England. During a visit as I watched the passing ships, I was moved by the history of the port and the maiden voyage of
the Titanic.
