I just pulled the hammer, based on the fact, the grizl has the lighter newer motor, probably making it feel more like a analog bike, the front suspension, the built in lights and the standard handlebar

Two questions: what's the max total system weight? And can it pull a trailer?
Nice to hear that! 😍 The system weight is 130 kg. It is technically possible to use a trailer. However, there is no official approval for this from our side.

I will probably buy this bike some day because it looks close to ideal bike for my needs but there are some problems:
1. There is not any dealer point where I can try on the machine - check the size to be sure I take right decision.
2. The sizes and geometry data look strange for me I am 180 cm tall so it is M or L size - but when I analyze geometry dimension I would choose XS size.
Size M seems to tall (dimension between ground and upper pipe) - There is a risk I can hit to upper pipe. Also the reach is to big for me.
In many bikes with XS sizes very often have toe overlap problems that I do not like - but it can be that such problem does not exist in this model.
3. Any version is perfect for me. I would like to buy customized version - mix some things i.e colour version, dropper, wheels or buy without wheels (i owe good carbon wheels set)
- are such things possible?

Whoever decided that the battery should be non-removable made a big mistake. Such a deal breaker for an otherwise cool bike!
How Do I charge at work without a power socket available?
How Do I charge at home if I dont have a power socket near my bike rack?
I am wondering if its even possible for me to switch out the battery when it gets depleted and doesn't hold a charge anymore.
Have one on order (after 2000kms with a Grail:ON) I think the SX motor should be a winner in the adventure/gravel market & can't wait to try the 40mm suspension/69.5deg head angle... ;-)

I've ridden the Turbo Creo and Neo Topstone (bosch) extensively. Own the Cannondale. I think this is better than both. Creo is a damn fine bike though with excellent motor. 80nnm of torque (bosch) is totally unnecessary. This seems to have everything. Might start saving now.

Sad Truth ….That bike version CF Trail is not sold in the USA…. I evened offered to pay for shipping . Customer reps could offer no help other than to offer me another version of Grizl ON which I have no desire …. Only got excuses ?

Can the battery be removed for charging?
The battery is integrated in the down tube.
So there is no way to store the battery in a warm place, other than to bring the whole gravel bike inside after every ride? Sorry, that's a dealbraker
@@iirosuomalainen1132 That's a minimum of 4-5000€ bike, why would you not store it inside a house or garage?
@@Maxwaehrens We agree on this. What I mean (and many can relate to) is that many bike garages are cold and for example in norther Europe for a period of 6 months temperatures are below zero. You are forced to bring the bike in side your house after every ride

The lights always switch on automatically as soon as the drive is activated.

Do not buy, just over a month and it’s already having some issues such as loud creaking sound from motor, no options to have it fixed in the USA I called the company and they told me to contact Bosh and didn’t offer any help thanks for nothing Canyon
