Iam an arsenal fan ... and that team was able to beat us 2 times this season with dezerbi by a huge mentality to do that with deserve ... I appreciate what they do a lot
Hi from New Zealand What a beautiful passionate man we have as a coach, Thankyou to Tony bloom and Staff and all the players for not only making it into Europe ( 6th) place hopefully but for the wonderful attacking style of football BHA is playing,my late Dad spent time in Italy 🇮🇹 during the war and always love Italian style football, he even played for BHA and my mum was born there, my Dad would be so proud today if he was here, was so worth getting up in the early hours sometimes to watch my BHA Made a Kiwi BHA very Happy 😃❤
Everton fan here. Enjoy it brighton fans, savour it, European nights are the best. It’s well deserved. I only wish my won club were ran as well as yours. All best and I’m sure you’ll do great in Europe. Hope you manage to keep your best players. 👍🏻
I am a chelsea fan who’s slowly becoming a brighton fan without realizing😂 I find myself enjoying your content, watching your games, I watched the CEO interview with high performance podcast, I am slowly enjoying following brighton fc and always cheering for them especially when they face big clubs
They along with Newcastle have been the real surprise packages this season! Unbelievable that they are both competing in Europe but in different competitions. They have showed the big names such as Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool (even though they qualified for the UEL) up. This season belongs to the likes of Brighton and Newcastle and this is a wake up call for three of the Big 6.
I am a madrid supporter......but the beautiful football that Brighton played this season has made me fall in love with the team .....I started watching the games mid-season and it's been amazing to watch......Hope De Zerbi stays for a long time and adds to the history that he's already begun writing
Massive congratulations !! Great achievement !! Will never forget when our Plymouth Argyle club nearly went out of existence ..That your fans were some of the very few who actually cared and you even sent a coach down to the west county full of fans to support our fight !!! Your a brilliantly run club with a fantastic manager and great fan base …enjoy ..you deserve it …from a PAFC fan
I love it! There's something just wholesome about the narrative: working within your means (no overspending like the "bigger clubs"), lots and lots and lots of hard work, original and positve style of play, overcoming adversity (Potter, injuries, ridiculous schedule end of season), teamwork (incredible playing out of the back plus many other examples), opportunity (giving new or relatively untested players their chance to shine: Mitoma, Ferguson, Enciso, Colwill, Gilmour, etc.), keeping faith in those who needed a further opportunity (Undav), valuing sage experience (Lallana and Welbeck), being open-minded about talent (Steele > Sanchez), and being an empathetic and visionary manager (RDZ-ball and RDZ speaking up for Caicedo in January stand out for me). This is not just about moneyball in football. It's about being a decent football team where everyone is treated as a human being. So proud!
Neutral here but it's great to see the passion and love they have for the club. Everyone worked together and they succeeded, a true team effort. Congrats again, Brighton!
Mentality Monster De Zerbi. I must admit I was a bit worried when he first arrived because it looked like he had fallen out with the board at a few clubs. And I was wary of his love for Bielsa (who got trounced by Potter a few times, and couldn't adapt when needed). But I've been blown away by this man's passion, mentality and underlying philosophy. He really seems like a special manager, and he's just getting started.
Pep is also a big fan of Bielsa but you need the players to play that way and De Zerbi and Brighton don't yet have the money to compete at the very top unfortunately.....
De Zerbi took a mid table to low table sassuolo and made them a top 10 attack and top 5 possession in Italy with a squad that literally was changing, not every year but actually every 6 months
I'm a villa supporter, but without doubt Brighton are the team of the season no question about that. Fair play to them and I hope they have a blast in Europe
Since my first game at the Goldstone as a little boy in 1989, I never thought we’d actually be here. The heartbreak of losing the playoffs to Notts County in 91 and then the near implosion of the club, you always hope the team’s gonna make it but never really expect it to happen. Now finally it actually is, we’re here!
What a feeling after supporting The Seagulls for over 40 years. From the Goldstone, Withdean, Gillingham and now the Amex. What a journey The team, coaching and board are fantastic and onwards and upwards, Europe better watch out, thankyou Tony, Paul and Roberto youre all amazing
This is like when we, Norwich, got in the UEFA cup and beat Bayern ! In the late 80s, 90s, was the best era, prior to that, were up and down, a lot in second Division. Difference is, Norwich did it with a group of older pros long time at the club and some youth coming through, all mixing at the right time - not a massive budget. The sale of people like Chris Sutton, Ruel Fox - and older players moving on, meant it all fell apart, with no money to sustain it. It has been a case of trying to reach those levels ever since, while the money between top and mid / lower Prem clubs now is like from here to Pluto. 3rd and 5th Norwich finished in that era, regularly beating the likes of Liverpool or Man Utd along the way.
A bit sad to support a club over 40 years from which you don't profite anything. And even worse supporting a small club like Brighton with no chance of trophies over these years. No offence though
