Man you have wet water table at how many feet? Make a small DIY well also friend so you can use water for long water changes and constant flow through. 🥳🥳
Our garden is on a slight slope..we have full clay at 18 inches deep so water soaks down to the clay which acts as a barrier..small stream 2 roads away takes it away...wet in winter but dry in summer

bought mine on ebay..just type this in and search......Aerated Bottom Drain 4" inch Bottom Drain manufactured in solid PVC pipe
Dramatic sound effects start and end suit the herioc efforts you are going to. Keep going with this impressive self build and you will get there mate.

Hope you don't mind me asking, but how thick are the pond wall foundations?
Probably about double the width of the wall itself....nice and deep though probably about 18 inches or so
If you look at my video "massive mistake on koi pond " you can see how thick the front footings are
