Buy another shelf. That simple.

Physical for the win, I will be a curator of this format for as long as I can.
I ran out of space last year and have no room left for another shelf (already have 8!) The only advice I have is to place boxsets on top of the shelves to save space for single titles, you will get the maximum effective use of the shelf space that way.
Space is an issue, I do have some space where I can add a shelf. I will need to rethink the whole set up
Rip all discs to a massive hard drive (think 16 TB or so,) scan all the artwork (this will take at least a couple of years if you devote about an hour a day to the task,) throw all the cases away and store the disks and artwork in folders that will compact down to a small fraction of the space which you can put somewhere in storage. You will have instant access to everything, as well as the packaging and a lot more space in your house! I'm not a game person but I am a music person. I have at least as much media as you do and I did this exact thing years ago and it has made life so much easier. I like having instant access to any piece of music or video that I have ever owned. Well worth the time, money and effort to do this. Also, plan to have at least two backup drives of all your data (I have five backups of my music and four backups of all my video.)
This is a great idea, I have noticed hard drive space has increased a lot and prices are not too crazy. It might be time to do so.

Before I collect anything I create a want list, check out prices, and available space. Otherwise it’s hoarding.

1. Stop collecting.
2. Put all your purchases aside for the year in a single bin and then at the end of the year you put in all the new ones accordingly. You're already kind of doing this anyway.
I did stop buying as much.

Don't get me wrong I am blessed, but I won't be airing my life problems on my youtube channel. These problems are specific to my collecting, it will be boring for me to tell you about my knee issues I'm currently struggling with.
