Boss: Mask of Dark Earth/Carmelita | Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves 100% Walkthrough "10/31" (No Comm)

- In this part, we complete Operation: Moon Crash, and the Guru joins the team.
OPERATION: MOON CRASH
Difficulty: 4/10
Characters: Sly, Bentley, Guru
The goal of this mission is to destroy the Mask of Dark Earth, and officially recruit the Guru into the team. We start by luring he Mask of Dark Earth over to Murray who is dressed as its mortal enemy, but before Murray can flop onto the Mask, it attaches itself to Carmelita. Afterwards, due to the Mask's power, Carmelita grows into a giant and chases Sly while we play as Bentley. We shoot at Carmelita with our Sleep Darts five times while dodging her blasts, but find out that the Sleep Darts only made things worse, as she chases us down. Next we use the crane on the back of the truck to fling the explosives Carmelita throws at us, back at her. Finally as Sly, we climb up Carmelita and swing from both sides of the Mask of Dark Earth to get Carmelita to smack the Mask off her.
This was basically Sucker Punch saying "Hey, any of you furries also have a giantess fetish? Well, you're gonna love this!"
THIS is why Sly 3 is the best!!!

Murray: " It turned you into a badass, and not in a good way." Carmelita: "Guys, try to understand. Sly may drive me loco, but I would never, ever smash him to pieces. I gather you guys can take me over Camelarga any day, right?" Murray: "You said it!" Bentley: "without a doubt."
The part where Sly climbs up Carmelita is so claustrophobic

I think if the character model was different he would look MUCH less goofy then he looks in that scene. Since it’s either Shock at seeing a problem get WORSE, amazement due to her being sexier with the new size, or terror due to thinking what she could do to him if she got her big hands on his small body.
But I do agree, that face I just can’t take seriously! XD

I love this mission, giantess Carmelita is still pretty nice: but I REALLY wish that she were larger (in those two obvious places) and outwards, that'd be something to behold

When the mask first got on her and making her slightly bigger, It sort of disoriented me at first and I thought that was just a close up on her.
I thought this boss was very questionable...
Like shouldn't the health bar be the mask it's self instead of the badge. I feel like that would of been fitting.

It took *2-3* games to finally make Carmelita a boss? 😑
The Super Shiny Mega Gengar Well, she was a recurring antagonist in a few levels of the previous two games, since the Fiendish Five, the Klaww Gang, and that traitorous pussy Neyla were the BIG baddies in said games. She appears more often than usual in this game. That or Sucker Punch wanted to make fighting Carmelita as a boss worth the wait (well, in a pretty creative and comedic way, at least).
