It's a shame that her portrayal in Sly 2 is rather bland compared to the first and third games since they gave the lion's share of dialogue to Neyla.
For personal matters these chases are interesting. Carmelita is one of the best video game police cops ever and she's also a skilled combatant and she's able to catch and defeat criminals with her hands and feet in combat. But Sly on the other proves to be Carmelita's greatest challenge yet and Sly Cooper's a hard criminal to catch which is like a rivalry game of cat and mouse. Sly and Carmelita could be allies and the best of friends if Sly wasn't a criminal or frenemies but a relationship of them being a couple is complicated. The Sly Cooper franchise really needs to come back with more games and Sly Cooper and the franchise needs more love and appreciation.

I remember i always used to laugh at Sly's hat just randomly floating away in cut scenes 13:10 I think it's cuz the model outside of the cut scene is doing his hat flip idle animation or something.
Look at how much of a sad downgrade the ones in the first two games are compared to the first one in Sly 3. Went from her like fucking destroying scafolding, blowing up cars and building material, covering a museum in shock blasts and running from her with the whole gang, like you're being chased by a fucking T rex to "oh you're coming right to me? let me just jump out of the way and not chase you down the sewer"
