If they had to make a Sly duo I think Carmelita would be a better choice, but then again Sly Cooper series has so many characters and it's not a duo game like Jak or Ratchet

In all honesty, if you're gonna go for something as ambitious as a crossover between the PS2's Mascots, you should probably get some actual budgeting and writing for it.

they screwed up sly's walk cycle at the beginning, he's supposed to look sneaky and cunning, he's not supposed to look like he's skipping trough a field of daisies.

Gennaro Quite a shame how the game never really specifies which Jak this is suppose to be.
With Ratchet and Clank and Sly, it’s a bit easy to tell. Ratchet is Tools of Destruction and Sly is the second game if I remember correctly, seeing how Murray referred to himself as “The Murray!” With Jak, to this day, I’m still a bit stumped. His attitude is somewhat more akin to Jak II. But, his design is closer to TPL. Maybe because they viewed it as his most iconic look. 🤷🏾♀️ But, there was no reason for Jak to act the way he did here. In Jak 3, he was much more mature and X, he’s super chill - the light eco in his system definitely played a key role for causing his calmness as he got older.

This is so bad, jak is so out of character, his aggressiveness makes no sense, dont get me wrong, he is an aggressive character, but in the jak games, he usually keeps his cool, stays serious and sticks his focus on the mission and makes sure his friends stay safe, and if he fails then THATS when the aggression comes in play.

@@redt3788 no not one bit It was made before the 2016 remake also its pretty easy to narrow down 2013 if I right that was when the ps4 was released on that year so to test out the new hardware at the time but I've checked and the ps4 came out on the 15th November so ps4 game couple months apart

An even better crossover would have the villains of each game work together, causing the heroes of all 3 game series to join forces to defeat them. Jak, Ratchet, and Sly explore and fight though levels that take place in the universes of all 3 in one hell of a platformer game.
The player controls one of the three protagonists while the other two are controlled by AI, and also make it to where 2 other players can control the other two.

I think it needs a singleplayer treatment with an optional multiplayer mode. It'd be fun for Ratchet to traverse around Haven city and Spargus, Jak to go to Paris would be a blast, and Sly being in Meridian City would all be a good time.

I can't help but feel that Jak is completely out of character in this game, he's way too serious and stubborn.
I mean don't get me wrong, he's had his serious moments in his games, but he still had a humorous charm and was more upbeat and snarky, even when facing a tough challenge.
Here however he's a completely stiff, humorless, and no-nonsense type of guy. As a guy who's played the original trilogy as well as Jak X, this is really off-putting for me...

I like how the other two are (Sly and Ratchet) still funny, but I grew up with the Sly and Jak games and I miss the good old humor in the latter. :<
I hope that they do a remake of this game with a bit more of a plot similar to what all three games had (Plot-twists, Suspense, etc.), particularly the Sly games. :)

My problem with this game isn't just the game itself, but also Jak's charater. I know that Jak is brutal and moody, but not to the extreme, like he is shown in this game. Jak still cares about people and even he would have mutual respect towards Ratchet and Sly. In Move Heroes, Jak has been shown to not care much about anyone, other then himself and Daxter. And that is way off of his actual charater. He cares about other beings and tries his best to save them, even tho he enjoys fighting too much to be honest, like it is shown in Jak 2 and 3.
How is this any different from when he vowed to kill Praxis? XD

Yeah I hate his character here, sure in Jak 2 he was a little more angry but he still cares about the others and in Jak 3 he became more chill thanks to the light eco. I really think these devs didn't understand Jak as a character at all

Okay, I guess I've narrowed down our hero's personas.
Ratchet: Adorkably heroic badass with even bigger adorkable badass (with puns) as a partner.
Jak: Edgy bad boy with good morals partnered with a talking weasel thing with questionable morals.
Sly Cooper: "Robin hood" complex teamed up with a genius turtle and a hippo that's moderately useful.
Ratchet isn't a dorky cute person, he's meant to be cool gunnin' type guy, you obviously only know him for those new school games, they don't resemble anythin' on the original trilogy.

Also yeah, Ratchet is a badass I like calling him cute just for the hell of it. You think I didn't notice how much they changed Ratchet over time? @@musahaque2000 I know what you mean. He was funny and witty as well. Ratchet's new "boy scout" persona is fine but the fact that he was entirely different prior to the more recent games completely ruins Ratchet's character.
One of the main reasons I find this game's story really poorly thought out is the inclusion of Sly Cooper. You have six playable characters: two characters from three games. Ratchet and Clank and Jak and Daxter fit the bill because they're both duos. Sly on the other hand doesn't. He's part of a trio consisting of himself, Bentley and Murray. And then later on, the gang consists of seven members (eight if you count Carmelita). By only having Bentley accompany Sly, it renders the other members moot and pointless. It implies that Bentley is more important than everyone else, which goes against Sly's friendship philosophy. If they had to have a second companion, I would have used Carmelita. At least that's neutral.
I feel they should reboot this idea and add the changes you said and maybe add a couple other PlayStation duos such as Crash Bandicoot and Aku Aku.

What I feel, is that they should reboot this thing and make this into an open world crossover that could consist all the PlayStation icons we’ve played with since the first PlayStation. This idea would be really compelling imo.

The only thing I like about it was the sidekick interactions. They have such great chemistry together, especially Clank and Bentley.
Massive Ratchet & Clank fan and like the other two franchises too. The interactions between all the characters were pretty good, but the game could have been a lot better

To be clear, this game could've been great if a major development team actually worked on it, something as crazy as a crossover like this, I would hope for a collaboration between Insomniac, Sucker Punch, and Naughty Dog, incorporating everything from all 3 franchises into an epic interdimentional adventure.
But uhh...after seeing some Easter Eggs from the newest Rachet and Clank game, that idea is certainly possible now

Yeah, this game is really disappointing in most ways, but at least that isn't one of them--everyone sounds like I expected them to
It would have been better if it was more story-based rather than competition. Maybe a cool story would be if each protagonist was battling a villain who was trying to open portals to different universes/timelines. Strangely, the events were happening at the same time. Once the villains activated their devices, the three machines causes a fluctuation that forced all three worlds to be connected. The three villains end up at a location where they can see their worlds and found that, with their combined forces, they could take over their respective universes (with each villain secretly plotting against the other two.) Suddenly, after our heroes joined forces to restore their worlds to normal, they find that their worlds are being attacked by the villain of another universe (Dr. Nefarious taking Sly's home with his now-improved Biobliterator, Sly Cooper villain stealing items from Jak's worlds, and Jak villain conquering a planet from Ratchet's universe/stealing something from the Great Clock to aid in controlling the universes.) I don't know much about the stories/villains of Sly Cooper and Jak, but if anyone can suggest villains that could play a viable part, then feel free to reply.
Mac Jameson Sly Cooper bad guys that matter:
Clockwork (idk how spell it) in Immortal giant robot owl. He murdured Sly's entire family tree. He is dead but was kind of Resurrected and became Clockla (the backstabbing purple cat lady)
The new Sunk guy: came from a long line of family thieves except the Coopers were better. So he wants to prove history wrong with Time Travel. Currently stuck in ancient Egypt with Sly.
Neila ( purple cat chick): worked as Carmelita's sidekick then back stabbed her and the entire Cooper Gang throwing them ALL (except a Bentley who save them) in hypnotist prison. She then backstabed the people who she was actually working for and decided to.. take control of Clockwork's body and... make everyone on earth hate so much that they would kill each other. She is dead.
Dr..... Monkey guy (idk been too long): betrayed sly's father. Just as smart, if not smartter than Bentley. He is dead ( buried alive in a crumbling cave full of gold.... you watch him die.)
The Contessa: a black widow spider lady who hypnotizes people. (I'm pretty sure she ate her wealthy husband because he mysteriously died after the wedding). She has been hypnotized herself and now works on a farm (I think).
Rojion? (Idk indian Tiger guy): a spice drug lord. The spices make you very angry (uncontrollably kill your friend kind drug induced anger) and makes it easier to hypnotize you. (he loves watermelons and can't resist them). Though he was quite a memorable bad guy he now sells rugs.
There's always the Italian politician guy, he polluted stuff. he's in prison.
Maybe that bad guy in Rumble Down Under ( Australia level) would fit well in Jack's world since he's all about dark magic or whatever ( I don't even remember who the bad guy was.... I think it was a Mask that controlled people... YEA that's it!)
General Tso: a Chinese rooster who raised the dead and makes an Undead army
The go to best bad guys would probably be Clockwork and Neila (I hate her sooo much. That backstabbing B! I trusted her!)
The possible villians of Jak and Daxter for this are: Baron Praxis ou Erol

I've seen this suggested before with so many properties, but no one ever really elaborates beyond "villains team up, heroes must stop them".
Sadly from what I know, most of Jak's villains have kicked the bucket and it's sounding pretty samey for Sly. Good old Dr. Nefarious though

This must be taking place at the beginning of Jak 3 when he got exiled, but before he found any of the light eco temples. He was pretty moody at that time for good reason.

I wonder if another crossover can be done. At the moment Jak and Sly are kinda in limbo right now in terms of new games. Ratchet seems to be the only one still going. Hopefully we'll see more games with these guys working together maybe a splinter series.

This is a missed opportunity of having one of the greatest crossovers. Hopefully they try again and actually have it affect each characters' storylines (make it canon).

This game sucks, I'm a Jak and Daxter fan always have been and Let me tell you this game makes TLF look a really good. That is really sad Why dose Haven City look like a boom was dropped on it? Why is Daxter the voice of reason? Why dose Jak not seem to care what his BEST FRIEND is saying. Why is Jak acting so stupid? Also another small thing I saw why if they're in the Slums can I see the Naughty Ottsel? Also the Scatter gun doesn't blow up house. that's just a few of the problems I saw with just Jak and Daxter. Now I'm just going by what I've seen in the video I've never played this game and I don't plan to.

That intro just makes all the nostalgia of my 6-10 year old self playing all these games come flooding back. Gosh I cant wait till theres a good way to play all these originals in at least full HD(Im sure there already is but I am unaware of the upscaling or some playstation store on modern ps4 or ps5). Be awesome if someone made some program that you could put old games through and uses AI to update to new graphics and maybe even change the platform but Im sure that would be distant future stuff

Sin duda fue un gran crossover, de tres de las franquicias más icónicas de Playstation; lo malo fue, que no le pusieron mucho empeño ni a la historia, ni al gameplay...Que bueno que corrigieron eso(un poco) en Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale.
Pero igual tiene un poco de aprecio por como los héroes resuelven sus diferencias, al contrario de Play allstars, donde están todos contra todos...Por eso espero que en PS4 halla un "Playstation Move Heroes 2" así como un "Playstation All-Stars 2".

I think Dax looks incredible and Jak needs some work but they could of easily made another game or remaster all 3 and the release jak 4

Your a dumbass for wishing that, Spyro and Crash are PS1 characters and they're versing eachother, but these are PS2 generation characters, so the competition is about them and because they're have many similarities, I don't even know what Sly's doing there though, he should of let the two grown ups have their coffee.
