I'm pretty sure they made a reference to Nefarious in the Invader Zim movie. He named one of his robots Lawrence and kept yelling his name.
Also, the chemistry between these 4 is so perfect - haven't seen a group work so well off each other since the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and the Mane 6.
Which alone is impressive, considering that the group contains Qwark and Nefarious, the former being almost useless (the only good thing I think I've ever seen him do was shoot the Biobliterator at the end of UYA), and the latter being a supervillain who has lost twice over at the time.

I still adore the fact that they had to change the name 3 times for being inappropriate.
I will be, FOREVER disappointed that the name “Bros be4 Foes” was banned, that is one of the greatest names I’ve heard for a game.
That’s honestly the main decline of the modern-day humour for the R&C games: Rating system. Still, the modern-day humour has some great lines that make me laugh.

Nefarious is the most animated out of the four and that's ironic considering he's a robot. He's always a treat to listen and watch.
Ironic that Nefarious, a character described in Rift Apart as always failing, got a multitude of victories here. Fixing the commander's voice, finding the villain's lair, dealing the final blow to the Loki Master via backhanding the soul outta the big bad. For someone named Nefarious, he's a pretty good good guy.
Well in Rift Apart he also helped defeat his eviler double, so yeah.

bubbajoe117 oh they didn't forget... it's just he's had several games afterwards to redeem himself, and while Qwark is a bit of an idiot... he hasn't exactly tried to kill them intentionally at all after Going Commando and technically Up Your Arsenal and even became integral part of the attempt to stop Nefarious on two occasions (even if he did screw up big time on the second time)

Soon as dude told Ratchet , the girl was an orphan, it punched Ratchet right in his heart . And myself , that scene was so powerful . It really grinds my gears they rebooted the series and left so many unfilled plot holes and continuity errors

@@mattkugelman4369 The writing isn't that good in Rift Apart. The characters don't behave as they used to & Rivet looks nearly the same as Ratchet & contributes nothing to the main story. They did dirty Nefarious as well & I also feel that he is overused. I kinda feel bad that he ended up used & bullied by his own double. The game open the idea that Lombaxes have to deal with their doubles versions, where in Tool of Destruction makes it seem like they settle in a new land of their own. I like the writing of the first game & the future saga not counting Rift Apart.

The Future saga spin-off games are canon. They seem to only exists to hold those over who were waiting for the next chapter in the main line games. You can tell a lot of money wasn't exactly thrown into them but they still got the job done.
Pretty sure only secret agent clank and the 2016 remake aren’t canon.

I love that Rift Apart is in the same universe but wish that Nefarious kept some of this change of heart. At least doing more to team up near the end of the game. I really thought he would too, it was the perfect time to. Seeing how awful the most evil version of himself was and realizing it's just impossible to win in Ratchet's dimension. Hitting the killing blow on that dude. And then they just crush him with the ship and we don't end up knowing what happens to him.
It would be great to see him finally be on the team so that he can be in more games without having to be the main villain. Kinda like how Bowser was in the Mario & Luigi games.
Actually we do know what happens to him. During the credits he's seen visiting Lawrence and he becomes the Godfather of his firstborn son
Basically a sort of “I’m only helping you to make sure HE doesn’t rule MY galaxy,” kind of thing
sad to think that this game was negatively recieved just beacuse they tried something new to play with more people, totally different from the one player game formula

At least they redesigned the characters in the new Ratchet & Clank game. Plus, where's Angela? Remember her? She's also a Lombax. Female Lombaxes have no tails and are slightly taller than males. Ring a bell?
Angella is in Zordoom Prison, and I think she died there. Also, female Lombaxes do have tails, you just can't see Angella's because of her combat uniform.

Rift Apart except Rivet is evil and you have to team up with Rebel Nefarious
That's the great thing about multiverse theory: the same characters can exist in a different universe (accessible by Dimensionator) with arbitrary changes that allow flexibility in writing. Also, Sly Cooper and Jak & Daxter are both canon to the R&C multiverse.

I think it would've been better if characters other than Nefarious and maybe Clank just referred to Lawrence as "that butler guy". Just to get some sort of running joke going. I mean, Ratchet didn't even know Lawrence's name throughout most of R&C 3.

I liked the back hand at one point, and even though this game is for kids, the game is pretty epic.
