*Note* - AMD Radeon VII launched today, however it is out of stock online and early reports indicate it is similar to the RTX 2080, minus the Ray-Tracing. I have one on order (AMD did not send me one), so I'll do a comparison as soon as it arrives.

"Minus the Raytracing" isn't a true statement imo. It does support DXR and the coming DirectML and according to an article from ComputerBase the Radeon VII performs amazingly well with those 2 features.

OMG I'm so excited! Loong time watcher of this channel but for the first time you're reviewing something I'm planning to buy! There are no proper benchmarks of the Aorus waterforce anywhere! I'm going to love seeing the comparisons of this card compared to other 2080s. Granted, I'm buying the 2080ti version but I could definitely extrapolate the performance boost of an AIO version compared to other normal versions. Thanks Mr. Deals. Bought an Asus 2080 ROG OC Strix and I am really happy with it! Super quiet and was able to get +145 on core and +1000 on memory. At full load at 50% fan speed the temps stay at a max of 45 degrees. The only issue this card has is that if you are running a 3 monitor set up this card is not for you since Asus decided to take out one display port and replace it with 2 HDMI but otherwise if you run just two monitors this card is a beast.

Honestly... For 1080p, playing at High settings with a GTX 1060 is perfectly fine (I play at medium to low since I play for extended periods and want to reduce overall heat generation, and to preserve longevity lol). Anything higher is good to go for 1440p minimum.
RTX cards are not value-for-money for the time being.
It's been half a year, come on! Post those benchmarks. You're the only channel that compares the 2 cards I'm thinking about buying

I had to balance my new system budget and decided that spending over $400 for a graphics card when the built system(w/o graphics) was $1500 wasn't going to work for me. BUT I really enjoy these presentations where, when money is no object, what people can and will spend without blinking an eye. If you have to ask, then you can't afford it still applies...

I never heard of Liquid cooling on GPUs.
Can you do Ryzen 7 2700 buld? I did not find such on your channel. In fact almost nobody on YT did it. Even when googling there are lots of 2700x but not 2700. I am very interested what kind of RAM manufacturer and model does it need to perform the best. From what I read 1st gen Ryzens had a problem with small amount of RAM. DId they change it in 2nd generation of their processors?

when you read this, this may be old news but, BF5 is now not the only game on the market with ray tracing turned on! Ace Combat 7 has it as well. witch may be why they delayed the PC launch.
I like the Gigbayte 2080 Waterforce card - stable freqs and low temps.
Are rtx having problem of blue screen?
I paid roughly 50% of what the RTX 2080 costs (and now what Radeon VII will cost also) for a Vega 56 two months ago and that card is getting 70% of the performance of these new cards for half the price, at least according to benchmark comparisons that show where an RTX 2080 or Radeon VII is getting say 60 FPS, the Vega 56 gets 45FPS at like for like resolution and settings. That’s just for example, there are comparative benchmarks at tomshardware. I think I got a real deal.

My another question is if there will be any gtx1660 or not? Do you think that ray tracing is important for gaming in next 3years?
Ghost Recon will struggle at 1080p Ultra, even on the RTX 2060 - set it to Very High and it'll run great

Man, I'm itching for a new card, but I know I will regret it. I'm trying to hold out til the end of the year. I would probably jump on a deal for a 2060 if it had 8GB of vram. Current card is a 970.
RTX 2080 will be a nice upgrade, 2060 would not impress as much
