Enjoy this weeks Battle Report! Let me know how YOU deal with the Star Gods.
I bring my own star gods 😂
Heat lance to the face!
@@es83stevenson88fire with fire I see.
@@kaleth6873 bring many !
Like the longer format bat rep, the extra explanation is very useful, made it more enjoyable when you know more about what’s happening on the table.
Glad you enjoyed!
Oooohh I really like the more in depth explanations way more! Thats a big quality boost to the videos!
Thank you a lot!
Thank you ! 😊 I appreciate the feedback .
Nice explaining your plan and thoughts each turn! Thanks for the quality batrep.
Glad you enjoyed it!
The explanations are awesome, really helping with decision paralysis at the start of games!
Im glad you enjoy me breaking things down!
Really enjoyed this week's battle report! Loved the longer explanations. You and John the Cron are so entertaining to watch together, great personalities!
Glad you enjoyed it!
That Necron list is incredible 🤣🤣
It is awesome ! 😎
2:40 - "I've been having so much fun with this list........"
"But my opponents definitely haven't"
Hahahah
I love the more competitive battle reports, especially against difficult matchups
Nice ! I love filming those too
Oh John you crazy fk you're still doing it!❤
Yeah, he’s absolutely loving it.
Like the new format 🎉 great show
Thanks, much appreciated.
love the list, aircraft look so cool on the board!
I think so too! They are so awesome looking .
Just lost a game that appeared to be almost unwinnable but then became winnable game by three points. Devastating since you're given hope and then its taken away. Good thing Skari released a battle report so I can watch him win instead!
Oooff , that can be rough when someone claws back ! On to the next game ! Thanks for watching :)
About the flyers, don't they have to be in your deployment zone the turn they arrive?
Also, one of the wings are off the board, is that also okay? I thought all the parts of the model needs to be on the mat
They simply arrive as regular strategic reserves (wholly in 6” of an edge) not in enemies deployment zone turn 2. However , only the base is used for measurements with aircraft, so the base has to be wholly on the table , wings can be off the table.
Awesome thanks!
You barely run into flyers so I was curious how that would work lol
Was just wondering who you used the voidraven's bombs on? And did they do anything? They are quite swingy :D
One bomber used bombs, did nothing .
Skari, still the best 40k content with a competitive slant. Informative, to the point and good natured. Please keep the regular stuff coming!
Question, can a Beastpack go through walls (ruins) in 10th? The only thing that I'm questioning is the 'Mounted' keyword on the Beastmaster. Does this keyword stop the unit using their 'Beasts' keyword, as they would now have both?
Thank you for the kind words . It means a lot :) .
A beast pack master can go through the walls yes. Mounted does not disallow movement though the walls, being a beast - grants - the ability to do so :).
Hello! I love your videos. I am building my first Army right now and started with 3d printing some units. If I want to buy any boxes that are currently stocked, what would be the best way to go about this to build a rounded out army that will perform well enough to play with my friends? Thanks again for the videos!
The combat patrol x 2 is a great place to start .
@@SkaredCast Thank you for the quick reply, very much appreciated!
@@MrKaughtintheact any time !
Love those voidraven bombers!
Yeah! I love playing with them.
Can someone point out where can I purchase the terrain use on this video? It is amazing and I really like it
It’s in the description :)
The fact you can even take 6 ctan is one of the reasons 10th doesnt feel right to me compared to previous editions. Its like theres no sense of army structure anymore.
And there's barely any wargear to kit out your army and make it feel unique
Anyways enough of every 40k players favorite hobby (complaining), loved the video! I also liked the explanations, thats really helpful and interesting
I miss my old FoC
I will add that as a new player, free wargear seems so much simpler than having to math out all the points. whether its better i cannot say...
I wish GW added a third option to Empowered Through Pain, where you could spend Pain Tokens in the Command Phase to fish for CP's on an Leadership test if your Warlord was still on the table. There are some fun stratagems, but they seem overall hard to really prioritize due to somewhat of a CP shortage. Gotta be quite stingy with them.. :-/ Let's hope Vect gets a new model with some decent CP rule when we finally get a codex. Fun battle report though.
That would be cool
@@SkaredCast Either that or the Skysplinter Assault could reward you with CP's at the start if you had brought Razorwing Jetfighters and/or Voidraven Bombers along (assuming they had brought valuable intel to the army before the fight). I don't imagine we'll get any sort of "second arial force" type detachment to play with when the codex comes, so they are kind of a hard fit in many ways already. Awesome models though and fun seeing you put them to some use at times.
Just to clarify what John was saying, if you rotate a model it counts as moving?
Any model technically yes
@SkaredCast you should come to Texas and play against my Dark Angels. I'm sure I could lose by less than 40. :)
When I’m down south we can try to make something happen!
Where is this battle-mat from. I love all the deployment lines !
This one was from the red dragon, the link is in the description.
Star gods vs airplanes!
One the ruler of the cosmos, ones the rulers of the skies .
Always cool to see more games, and more John the Cron.
I have a curiosity question Skari..
Do you think the Drukhari load-outs on things like Scourge will change when they get a Codex?
A lot of stuff seems to get changed so it can only take what comes in a box..
I ask because I inherited a decent chunk of a Drukhari army from a friend that sadly passed a few weeks ago, I am fixing and assembling it all atm and I noticed the Scourges kit has like 1 of each weapon (always see them with 4 dark lances so didn't realize).
I hope we can still take as many weapons as we want … if not I’ll
Be so sad ,
@@SkaredCast Knowing that they designed that Drukhari plastic range so the arms were cross compatible between kits, it would confuse me to limit the options..
But in another way it makes sense because otherwise you might need to buy kits that you don't want to get certain weapon options..
Do you have any advice for list building against necrons in general?
List building is less important in the matchup then , proper movement and target priority. But I have found the beast pack and the court of the archon to be invaluable.
What is different with flyer and towering? I just gotta know
Aircraft use the old towering rule basically.
How can you redeploy planes?
Redeploy them?
@@SkaredCast you mentioned you can pick up planes like mandrakes and redeploy them like mandrakes in the next turn or did i mis understand that?
@@Bagoth2in essence , because they have unlimited movement in a straight line .
@@SkaredCast oh i see what you are saying. Makes sense.
@@SkaredCast And they really do have the old towering rules where they can ignore sbscuring terrain?
dont voidravens have to move every turn? looks like they just sat in 1 spot for multiple turns
They moved every one of my movement phases :)
