And then there's Hae-Jun, from convenience store to most expensive korean BBQ, she just fits. I think we don't even realize or see ALL the little, brilliant ideas that Sonny puts in his show, the details that makes them amazing. We just watch, and get addicted.

when you came to malaysia, I really wished that you visited Sarawak. Its full of local food from many different culture like Iban, Kadazan,chinese,malay and a lot more culture. Pls come here
very common! the smoke in korean bbq restaurants since its grill your own meat, will leave your clothing with a strong meaty, smoky smell for awhile. febreeze cans upon leaving are an extra service you can use to smell good and try to alleviate any residual smoky meat smells on your clothes (or as best as you can)
For some reason when sonny was talking about the food blowing his mind or transporting him to another planet I realized all the foodgasm on food war is soo true 😂
I like that in winter they are considerate enough to give each group at a samgyupsal place a plastic bag to put in their bulky coats so it wouldn't smell like the food afterwards. And the patrons are also kind enough to gently handle and fold the plastic bag afterwards so it can be reused by others. Amazing culture.

Been to Korea 14 times. Korea truly has the MOST tender, juicy and flavorful beef. Love being able to sit and cook the meat with my family at the table and throw back some Soju! Quality meat with quality family time!
