- Oh yeah, we're doing THAT questline today. You know, the one that clutters up your inventory with stones that you can't get rid of? I will show you how to find ALL 24 of these little beauties and we'll even restore the proper Crown of Barenziah while we're at it! Aaaall in one ASMR video with lots of whispering and random tidbits of Skyrim trivia I thought of while making this 😂

So a really cool thing is that if you don't identify them as Stones of Barenziah and keep them as Unusual Gems, they actually stack in your inventory so you can turn them all in at one time.
The fact that the original unmodded game doesnt have quest markers is just cruel.

They were like Skyrim's bobbleheads. You were never gonna just go out and get them all in one go, but running into one was always exciting. I don't think I ever actually got all of them tbh

I prefer it without markers. I never expect to get all the stones, but stumbling across one is a little exciting. For me, it would be ruined if it was yet another instance of “go to the marker, get the thing”.
The most hated quest in Skyrim is surely a toss up between this, ‘A Return to Your Roots’ and the radiant Companions quest where you have to rescue Nazeem.

@@sieras3323 I remember getting the Nazeem rescue quest on my very first playthrough and he *accidentally* died on the way back to Whiterun. Still got paid though. Ah, life was beautiful then.
The roots one is the red nirnroot quest right?
@@fernandod4046 You're correct. It's a direct reference to that one quest in Oblivion where you help that High Elf, Sinderion, in collecting nirnroots...
“A Return to Your Roots” at least rewarded a passive effect of having a 25% chance of making a duplicate of a potion.
Vex: "You've done us a great service. Here's your reward!"

and people wonder why we grabbed a magic plate, pulled a harry potter and went through the wall, just so we can rob a chest
*And Prowler's Profit, a permanent active effect that makes it INSANELY more likely for you to find gems in chests as well as high rarity ones. When I say INSANELY I mean it. You go from finding three gems per dungeon to finding like 5-8 per chest or in friggin urns and pots in Nordic ruins. It's probably the fastest way to make money in the entire game excluding cheese.*

I’ve literally just recently started playing Skyrim for the first time ever. Didn’t know much about the game except some basic stuff, and memes. I just finished the main storyline and now I’m gonna try and do as many side missions and quests and miscellaneous missions as I can. It’s so overwhelming how much shit there is to do lol but it’s officially one of my favorite games now. I’m addicted.
I haven't really been into games as much as I used to be, but skyrim was the last game that I spent a huge amount of time playing. Owned it on 360, then ps4, then PC hah. It really is a great game!!
(Sorry, I tend to write a lot :( it’s okay if you don’t read my mass of text, lol).
TL;DR: Terraria, Zelda, and Skyrim are all awesome and my addiction. Ordinator is a great mod if you ever get bored, it overhauls perks. Apocalypse is a good mod for mages.

Oh yeah, Skyrim is amazing. I spend all my time on three main games:
Skyrim: Special Edition
Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Terraria
By far, Terraria is one of my favorite games. Sooooo addictive. The replay value is amazing since there is a ton of random world generation, two different world evils to choose from (Corruption/Crimson, unique drops and items), items that you can’t get in one world, you might find in another (this makes you want to play again), you can play one character for multiple worlds too.
Plus, seeing your character start with practically nothing and growing into a strong character... that’s a great feeling. I play Master Mode and kill Duke Fishron after the Wall of Flesh (which is incredibly early to kill, usually you kill around 5 bosses before Duke Fishron in hard mode, but I only kill Duke Fishron), so the game is sadly boring to me now, unless they make a new insane difficulty.
Zelda... honestly, all the games are great. Amazing. Addictive. Wow. Favorite game. I name my pets after Zelda characters. I plan on getting a tattoo that hints at Zelda.
Skyrim, well, you know, lol. My favorite thing to do is to play a conjuring illusion focused rogue that is also a vampire (from the Dawnguard DLC). I always try to do something new but ultimately go back.
Mage is ruined for me because you can make armor that makes spells free, and that’s just too broken.
Warrior makes me feel awesome, but it feels out of place to steal as a warrior and I love stealing (especially with the ordinator mod. It is AMAZING).
Ordinator makes stealing feel fun again. It will highlight a random NPC and you have to find them within a time limit, and, if you do, you get coin. Conjured weapons are also better, as they are kinda “enchanted.”
That random rich NPC thing also happens with the lock picking skill, random item gets highlighted.
Apocalypse is a great mod too for new magic spells.
Telling you, if you ever somehow get bored, mods.
Ohhh yeah I remember spending unholy mounts of time searching for these things
I absolutely would not attempt that quest without the mod to add the markers for it 🙃

I remember finding like 20 of them on my own and then after completing most of the game, I decided to finally look up where the last 4 were. That game was huge.
At first I hated the reward but began to like it when all I found was gems gems and GEMS everywhere, which ofc helped me become the rich overlord of Skyrim and Tamriel! 😂😂

Congratualations on getting the crown that quickly. It's what I love to do in the early game as well. Now, combine it with the Merchant perk so you can sell these gems to everyone and you can easily buy whatever you need in Skyrim.

Omg no way! I did this for the first time just a couple weeks ago! I complained about it in the comments because I thought the reward wasn’t good enough. But now that I’ve had the perk for a while I’ve realized the amount of gems I get

Found them all in the PS3 version as part of the Platinum trophy.
When I got the PS4 version it was a here-we-go-again moment. Managed to Platinum both copies though.
Markers would have made it a breeze admittedly, but the sheer excitement associated with finding them was awesome!

I got the dreamweaver mod and it gives a lot of content and waypoint travel and you can use tokens that go into almost all the guilds where the stones happen to be (coinsidence cos the goal of the tokens is for another small quest of recovering things in guilds and houses). it only doesnt include the ones in caves or hideouts and such of course. but the tokens allow me to go in place si usually need to get in via membership and quests and sometimes i can cheat myself in and get what i want and leave lol
“Rise from your grave” Altered Beast. That game needs to be brought back. The atmosphere and your voice combo here is too good.

The khajit leap while sneaking is only with weapons sheathed, so if you don't want it to activate you can just bring your fists out :)

I bought skyrim for the fourth time not too long ago for my switch. I've found maybe like 13 of those stones and I have no idea what happens when you collect them all.
I think the reward you receive is a perk related to finding more gems in chests , urns, and other storage across the game... Not really worth it, considering how much easier it is to make money by simply making dwarven bows and selling them...
My routine with your videos:

4- relax

There is a bug where if you mash the interact button when picking up a stone you can pick up 3 or 4 instead so you only actually have to find 5 or 6 of the stones instead of all 24.
I will say I found all of them legit the first time but hell no am I doing that again XD

IIRC, I raised the necromancer Arondil as a permanent thrall as punishment for his crimes. He traveled with me a great ways through the Dragonborn DLC before I finally released him from service.
