Without interference from the Dragonborn the bloodsuckers are too stupid to figure out how to open the Tomb to Serena and her Elder Scroll so probably not. And even if they did they’d only have one of the two they need and also don’t have Auriel’s bow either.
Proof that, without the Dragonborn, Tamriel would fall apart.

You could argue that the gauntlets are part of the canon Dragonborn given all the posters and merchandise of him with them.
The Dragonborn’s power is so great, that he can use a bucket to transport him through solid matter
And that is only 1% of his power.
For me, the “lore accurare” Dragonborn is the one standing on that stone with a dragon tail around him, and it only makes sense that he would wear gloves
I love how his simple gauntlet mistake had a better apology than youtubers who have committed literal crimes
3:13 I agree here, loads of promo of the dragonborn had those gauntlets so I think it should be allowed. Based on that I think you could've got away with using an iron(?) dagger too. Great video, glad it got onto my feed!

Tbh that's why I didn't use the dagger, I couldn't tell for sure. Plus, without healing, the shield was a no-brainer, once block is levelled up. You can tank anything

Awesome video man, loved the jokes but I can especially appreciate the strategy involved in this run. Doing Dragonborn DLC b4 finishing the main quest means Miraak's level wont be as high because it wont scale with your level after defeating Alduin and clearing Skuldafn. GGWP bro, keep up the good content, I know ur channel is gonna be a hit very soon (plus every skyrim player respects a good bucket glitch & Wooden plate noclip)
Thank you!! tbh I had no idea about that with miraak, I just did it first because I wanted alduin to be the last hurdle as he is the easiest to beat.
I've got one problem. The Dragonborn is never seen using exploits like bucket tricks or the Dawnstar Chest. Sure, its possible in gameplay, but I feel they go against the spirit of the challenge run.
I've attempted this myself, and I've honestly allowed a few modifications based on forward-progression:
He uses the Studded armour, and so I permit also using the _Scaled_ armour, which is a direct upgrade and near-identical looking.
I allow him to use any shout you also see the *_other dragons_* using.
He learns Fire Breath from Parthurnax, which is both quest-required AND the most basic of the Dragon Shouts, so I allow him to consistently use Fire Breath as a weapon; in addition to the Frost breath and the Storm Call which Alduin uses.
He begins the game with both the Flame and the Healing spells, so I allow him to use just those. It should be noted that Destruction Magic fire skills will make your fire breath more powerful.
I can upgrade the steel sword he uses into the Skyforge steel, which is again, identical looking. I also allow him to eventually upgrade into a Dragonbone sword simply because I don't see why he wouldn't, especially considering it's the same European Broadsword blade design that the steel sword uses.
All things considered, I know this doesn't really become the same anymore after this point, but I enjoy trying to create the most powerful - yet aesthetically the same - form of this character.

You know, the Dragonborn armor also appears under "Steel" smithing. And it's one of the best armors in the entire game. This makes using it canon to me. So when I played my true Dragonborn build.. he was at least a decent smith. Also, the trailer Dragonborn didn't broke the laws of physics using glitches, so.. uh, potions and healing spells should be alright.
Yeah, this is some serious Mandela Effect. I asked multiple people I know and every single one of us (including myself) thought he wore the iron gauntlets in the trailer. Great vid by the way!

I know I am like 4 weeks late, but I just rewatched the trailer for Skyrim. Around 1:44 in that video you see in a first person view him wearing those exact gauntlets. Not to mention that at around 3:29 in this video that every same scene is playing. With the "monkey see monkey do" rule based on the trailer. I'd say you didn't break any rules what-so-ever. Course I haven't finished the video, but that will come later. Anyway. it is looking great so far.

When I made my first character, right before you get to the actual character naming/creation phase after the opening scene cart ride, I made a save right then. The name for that is "PRISONER". Then any new play through I just load the save of "PRISONER" and start after the cart ride but before the character creation.

I think a skyforge steel sword would have been allowed. Mainly because it's still a steel sword regardless. I just chose not to use it.

If you want to include all the trailers then you can freely upgrade to the Nordic Mace at some point, it shows him using it in the Dawnguard trailer IIRC

To me, true Dragonborn isn't necessarily one-to-one replicating the trailer. For me, it's more powerful shout and less cooldown time for the shout

This is the first time I've done this, and it instantly became one of my favourites.
@@mooseychoosey I do think you should be allowed to lower your shouting recharge time and upgrade your gear, you know.
Just wear that Amulet of Talos and activate the Talos shrine to give you at least 40% cooldown and get Dragon Aspect for another 20%.
I know you can't get the Storm-Bear Armor for another 20% and if you'd allow yourself to be a Vampire Necromage you could actually cap yourself out with full 100% shout cooldown.

Have you tried to do the hybrid glitch? Its probably the greatest way to make a power hungry build in the game. Ive had tons of fun with the cunning and magic of the vampire and the speed and raw piwer of the werewolf.
