Rivals of Aether but I'm playing Ultimate Mr. Game and Watch

against a bot and a short clip I know but it feels so good to play my main again (just taken from my first playtest of him against a lvl 8 cpu. the design is amazing 9/10 sometimes bombs just vanish lol but link will be below for this workshop character!!)

Rivals is actually really fun. It's got a few key differences from Smash that keeps it from being too similar:
- Shields and spot-dodges are replaced by a half-second parry. If someone attacks you while you're parrying, you block it and they get stunned. It also reflects projectiles.
- Grabs are completely gone, which changes things up quite a bit.
- Ledges are gone. It their absence, all characters can wall jump to use their recovery a second time.
- Players don't lay down when crashing after being launched. They land standing.
Also all of the characters are super unique, changing the environment around them with their elemental powers (Kragg can make stone pillars and throwable boulders, Sylvanos creates grass that increases his strength, etc.
