    I'm thinking of reviewing budget joggers next, what do you guys think? What do you want to see next?

    You’re doing good work. Don’t let that hater body shame you. As a 5ft 10in 150lb scarecrow, I wish I had your weight and thick thighs. You carry it well.

    Personally I prefer an aggressive taper, because most tapers don't really seem tapered at all....looks much better with hi-boots or white leather sneakers if they hug your ankles more.

      @@AzrealJLevi's 531. Athletic fit, much like the 541, but with a noticeably more aggressive taper.

    Some points I've learned for anyone interested:
    1. The Levi's 541 are about the same cut as the AE Athletic Straight cut. The AE's are my go to, but they didn't have an option available in white for the straight cut, unlike Levi
    2. If you see a color of the AE athletic skinny that you like, but prefer the regular athletic fit, size up one, and they will be somewhat similar, albeit a bit roomier in the thigh. I did this because they had the athletic skinny in white, but not the regular athletic cut.
    I go with 36x36 on the AE athletic, and athletic straight. I go with 38x36 on the athletic skinny. I find that the taper from sizing up on the athletic skinny vs the regular athletic cut looks a lot more stylish and flattering. Although I mostly wear bulky shoes, so the athletic straight is my go to. They don't have a grey athletic straight, so I'll go with a grey 541 from Levi's

    Great informative video about Athletic jeans. Please do one about casual "shorts" pants for guys with big legs and thighs. Thank you!

    After a cpl weeks the j crew jeans would have felt soft as butter and up there in top quality as others. Little time and id say go with j crew, anything else just go everlane lol

    I think you mean your thighs are 27” in circumference, not ‘wide’… 27” _wide_ thighs would be 85” around! 😅

    I don’t want a glove fit lol no way. I squat so slim fit is DOA, but some athletic is just too much material- like bonobos lightweight travel jeans. So, I tried Levi’s 541, and these seem to do the trick, without that awful obscene taper so many other brands default to. You shouldn’t be wearing the 32 inseam at 5 foot 9, either. I’m 5 foot 11, and wear a 30, so I don’t get that crazy break at the bottom. You should def get the 30s.

      the American Eagle athletic straight would be perfect for you as well then, if you haven't tried them yet. About the same as the 541's

      I kept 4 pairs: Wranglers, Everlane, A&F and American Eagle! For the A&F because they're ripped, I returned the pair in the video, but got another pair with more classic colors. Ripped jeans are cool but I couldn't see myself pulling it off so I ended up going with something more traditional. Thanks for watching!

      try Duck Head, my son is "thick" in his legs and this is the only brand after trying many that didn't make him look like an old man, he's 20 and these look "his age", he liked the "large label" and the "shoreline 5 pocket" both fit and looked really good

      Yeah you can but it's pretty close. I've worn the pair in this video for about 9 months now and they're still comfortable. They can be tight first few times after a wash and dry, but they stretch out over time and are pretty comfortable after that

    How are Americans just so casual about being overweight. This dude's bmi is 28.1, just a few more pounds and he's technically obese. Jeans isn't what he should be worried about, it's his diet and exercise routines. Jesus Christ.

    • @MayoneighsRB
      @MayoneighsRB Před 2 lety +9

      BMI is oversimplified and outdated since it doesn’t consider any other factors besides height and weight. Besides, this is a video about jeans, dunno why you gotta focus on his weight.

    • @JokeSwag
      @JokeSwag Před 2 lety +11

      BMI is outdated. Btw going by BMI means that most basketball and real football players are overweight. I’d also recommend you use your BMI chart on American olympians and explain why we always lead the Olympics in Gold medals.

    • @ZackMorris1
      @ZackMorris1 Před 2 lety

      You're not built like the Rock. You're overweight or obese.

    • @JokeSwag
      @JokeSwag Před 2 lety

      @@ZackMorris1 Ok so you agree its based on a person's build and not their BMI. Body fat % and lean muscle mass. Both of which you have no idea of by just looking at the guy.

    • @ZackMorris1
      @ZackMorris1 Před 2 lety

      @@JokeSwag Yep ol chap looks just like the Rock...can definitely see the similarities. Got me there.
