Call Of The North EP 03 | Autumn in Scandinavia

- In this episode the dark season begins in the North. As we journey through the breathtaking scenery of Northern Norway, Sweden and Finland autumn colors arrive to the landscape. Starting on the Lofoten Islands, we venture further North towards Trømso and the Lyngen Alps where we find atmospheric fog-clad forests, towering glaciers and cozy mountain huts. Leaving Norway behind, we find ourselves in the heart of Swedish Lapland to hike out into the wilderness to find a remote valley with vibrant autumn colors and gaze at the seasons first show of Aurora, the Northern Lights! In Finnish Lapland we experience mesmerizing sunrises on glassy lakes and moody forests with fog wrapping around the treetops. Ending up on the Lofoten Islands again, we hike out to enjoy the last bit of sun, before the North goes into the polar night. From here we embark on a lengthy drive southward, spanning almost 3,000 km back to Germany.
Here we prepare for another trip North, to experience a real arctic winter! Stay tuned for EP. 04! :)

@@danielvorting9756 thanks so much 🙏 haha too much! Especially a lot of batteries since filming always drains them so quickly... it's probably around 4-6 kg, depending on what lenses I bring. It's usually a 24-70 2.8 and some sort of telezoom plus something with an 1.8 aperture for low light situations. When we hiked in Swedish Lapland I had to save some weight on camera gear and I only brought the 16mm 2.8, 35mm 1.8 and a 70-200 2.8

The autumn Season is one of my favorite ones and the most beautiful. Thanks for sharing so many stunning shots, I assume you travel full time, this must be amazing having the time for just traveling and filming every single day and catching up with the nature during the entire trip.
thanks so much buddy 😊🙏 autumn is truly beautiful, just sometimes the weather can be really really bad but I guess you know that 😅 we're doing it full time but we are mostly working for client projects on our trips - so videos like these are just out of personal nature and that's why they always take so long for us to edit and publish 😃

Yes editing takes a lot of time unfortunately 😅lots of work.
Anyway the best way to travel is by the van. Closest to the experience and more free to travel instead with the plane.
Sad the car sometimes breaks but this can happen to everyone specially with old cars.
My van is from 1991 😂
@@ArcticNorthAdventures haha yea thats always a problem when this happens 😅 luckily Norway is quite good with towing services. Our van is 10 years newer but still we broke down 2 years ago! Inside the tunnel near Skibotn. Was quite an adventure 🥲

angeregt durch eine eigene Norwegen-Reise in diesem Februar (Tromsö, Lyngenalpen, Insel Uloya) habe ich mir viele Filme über Reisen nach Nordeuropa angesehen. Keiner hat mich derartig begeistert wie Eure Reisedokumentationen. Vielen herzlichen Dank für diese großartigen Eindrücke, ich saß teilweise mit Tränen in den Augen vor dem Fernseher, so sehr haben mich die Bilder berührt. Ihr habt das wirklich sehr schön eingefangen, und ich kann mir vorstellen, dass die Eindrücke vor Ort ganz besonders waren. Macht weiter so, Ihr habt mir große Freude bereitet!
