Takes some serious nerve to cross that land on your own mate, foreign country, and some dodgy crossings. Full respect to you, living the dream 😊 more of scandinavia please Liam 🙏
He's ex service, so it's in his blood mate
Plus he’s from the north of UK. No wimps from there😅
@jacquelinefilby1842 ohhh yessss 🤣
@@wildcamphavenoclue3160 I didn’t know he was ex service, makes abit more sense now
Northern monkeys
Your storytelling in your videos is unparalleled. You capture the atmosphere perfectly. I love watching your videos before bed as they’re so chill and relaxing.
Norwegian here. You’re clothes and shoes got me worried from the first second. Even though it was summer, you can get below freezing temperature and snow, storms and heavy rain. When hiking in the norwegian mountains for days, you need solid mountain shoes with support and water resistance, and layers of clothing with water proof jacket. When hiking alone you should have a GPS connection. If you break you’re leg or get ill in some way, there is noone there to help you. Just some crusial tips. Other than that enjoy the norwegian wilderness and mountains. Welcome back.
You really need to start bringing back filming your evening meal again dude.
Loved this video Liam! Question. Any chance you could do a video giving us a step by step guide on how you plan these hikes? I'd love to do something abroad but haven't got a clue how you would even plan it all.
Similarly, the most notable thing I remember about visiting Iceland was how fresh and clean the air was. It’s actually quite difficult to explain to someone who’s never experienced it.
I did alot of walking around Sweden this summer and it was fantastic, I may never have done some of the things I did without being inspired by your videos. Thanks for another great video!
Great video mate. Norway is amazing country. People are pretty friendly too. They seem to be at one with their surroundings..👍
Fantastic video Liam and what a place. Your videos are so pure; no bells and whistles, they are a joy to watch. Just walk, pitch, eat, sleep etc and its obvious you are just living your perfect life, good on you mate. ATB Big Dave Scotland.
Beautiful stunning country. You never stopped smiling despite the terrain and the weather. Another cracking hike. Thank you. Take care, be safe. ❤ Dorset, UK
Wow mate that was beautiful, but looked extremely challenging, you've got some bottle doing that on your own mate, truly impressive, well done and you did it with a smile on your face the whole time, definitely watching that again, can't wait for what You've got planned next!! 🎉 I take my hat off to you
Hello Liam, I really enjoyed following you on your adventure. It sparked so many memories for me. In 1979 when I was 30 years old I did the trek that you have just filmed. The river crossings were a bit sketchy then as well. As you say it's the most stunning place and to follow you has been such a nostalgia trip. Thank you.
I love hiking 🥰🥰next time I visit Norway, I'm gonna go for some hike with my partner 🥰
Im glad you finally got your feet over in these parts! Good too see you enjoy it, and i know you're hooked now so im looking forward to new adventures here in Norway!
Cheers Liam. Not been to Norway for over 50 years, just looks the same.😊
Look at that scenery. The grass sooooo green! (at the end of film)
Just great videos Liam - a real inspiration to get out in the wilderness wherever you are!
How lovely! Such contrast between the crisp clean air n water; huge hard rock scariness with campanula, bilberry and heather daring to take on the challenge...and of course you braving it out in the cold and wet. Good stuff! Thank you
As a fellow solo hiker and wildcamper, I can totally imagine the humbling of those mountains and the noise of those rivers 🙏🏼 it takes a lot of guts to hike across such openness without any reception or people around. Full respect to you mate, awesome video and thanks for sharing 💙
Love your van videos Liam. Your a well travelled lad. Happy hiking 🥾
Unbelievable content mate. I’ve visited Norway twice, once in the north (Tromso) and once to Oslo - fabulous country. Random but have you ever thought of going to the Faroe Islands? Not far from Scotland and there are some unreal hikes there, James Bond was filmed there - it’s like nowhere else 👍🏻 🇫🇴
Fabulous new vid Liam, it’s always great to see where your exploring next. I would love to hear how you go about deciding and planning such a trip, but it wouldn’t surprise me if you said that you just stuck a pin in a map and went with it. Thank you for taking us all along 👍👊😉
We love you Liam, always comment on your videos and your endearing charm. Waving from Devon!!
Fantastic ❤ hiking poles are almost a must in such conditions. A warm hat/ a sunhat and sunglasses and gloves
Love the addition of the maps to show your progress. Great video and Norway is definitely top 5 on the bucket list
Watched your channel for some time now Liam. You are living the dream my friend. Well done for creating it!
Thanks for all the vids Liam, can’t believe I’ve caught this within 10 mins of upload! That’s my evening sorted. Keep up your world tour!
Liam, your determination to get output on YT is just awesome. I lived in Stavanger for 5 years and travelled all over Norway, its a fabulous country, but the weather can be tough. Have you tried waterproof socks? Great video.
He should also get a waterproof tent.
Hiker and Film Maker, excellent as usual Liam. Really enjoyable watch, you really are living the best life!
Hi Liam, thanks for such another outstanding video. I have recommended your channel to quite a few of my friends and I know they also enjoying your content. Please keep putting new videos out as they are a must see for me as soon as I notice a notification. You were rather brave to do that trek in such an isolated place without some sort of GPS rescue device. You might have had one on you but it may be worth getting one as a slip on one of the boulders could have broken your ankle etc. It was so isolated there I'm guessing that you only encountered other people at mountain huts.
Your videos are so inspiring and make me so relaxed, keep up the walks Liam 👍
Im super happy to finally see you in Norway!
I walked Hardangervidda two months ago and had the same weather as you did here.
Hope you will come back some time to explore more of norway!
Such a tranquil vlog to watch. You're extremely courageous to walk that terrain alone. Gorgeous scenery. Thank you for sharing. 😊🏔️🌲
You so enjoy you're trips Liam, Thanks for taking us along stunning.
Fantastic! Would love to see an adventure in my home region of Lofoten and Senja in Northern Norway! Lots of fjords, mountains and rough weather
Watched this video whilst on a boat out on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia and although a world apart, I instantly wanted to see this part of the world! Great video!
Amazing. I could have watched 2 more hours. Thanks so much for sharing
I’ve so Much respect for you setting up your camera and walking far away and having to run back for it. Anything for the perfect shot I guess 😂
If you think Liam walks far away, wait until you see what Harmen Hoek does
Thats a challenging environment Liam. Pay back is the superb scenery. Great video again.
Parts of that trek looked like a lunar landscape. Another great one, Liam.
Love to see how you push yourself Liam! That rocky stretchy looked tough. Well done!
What can I say, apart from thank you for sharing your experience of Norway. Some wonderful scenery. Thanks once again. Take care.x
Mate, you're living THE life! Always look forward to a new video and they never disappoint.
Living the dream Liam. Get nervous going on a hike on my own in Cheshire so fair play my mate that you're there on your own. Love the recent videos
Well done Liam this one looked tough at times. But you did it with the help of coffee. Thanks for taking time and effort editing 👍👍👍
Fantastic Liam as always pal, keep the vids coming thoroughly enjoyed that epic scenery’s the views are amazing..I’m so jel - living the dream..
Your adventures are the only reason I come on to CZcams your videos relieve the stress of the day and inspires us to get out and test ourselves. 👌
Another great video!❤️
Ahhh what a journey! Great work Liam.
I really appreciate the time you take with camera setups to give us a taste of what it is like to trek in wild places.
Wow Liam! Thank you for bringing us up to Jotunheimen. Many years ago I did more or less the same tour , beautiful but I wouldn’t have done it alone. You are absolutely brave! Some other time try the mountain area of “Rondane” it’s also really fabulous.
Stunning beauty and wildlife! Much respect to you for taking on a very challenging terrain. Great adventure.
Stunning scenery, absolutely breathtaking at times, but bloody hell, that looked like hard graft. Total respect for everything you're doing Liam, your videos are things of beauty.
That was a great video, so pleased for you that you got so much from it. A tough walk and so isolated, definitely worth taking care whenever necessary. It certainly was inspiring. Thanks for sharing.
Good video mate, defiantly similar to the highlands. Back in the day its supposed to have been part of the same mountain range. and a tip for your water filer bag if you blow into it first its a lot easier to fill up.
Loved that, cheers Liam. I'm going to Norway next May, and literally cant wait
Thanks, you are amazing. You inspired me to start hiking 🙏🏻
Thank you so much for your videos. They're like balm for my agitated soul.
How do you navigate? . I've always wondered that while watching your videos. I sometimes get lost in the supermarket
Brilliant as always I love these thank you 👍🏼
Hi Liam! I've been watching your videos for awhile, they're so relaxing. Love your positive, humble attitude. I live in the fjords, beautiful nature, though I haven't been to Besseggen. Must go someday. You have to hike Lofoten at summer solstice! It will blow your mind. Looking forward to more videos.
Great video Liam - really good hike
Could we get a kit tour soon? Be interesting to see what you’d take on such a long journey. Very jealous of your trip this time Norway is a destination I can’t wait to visit!
Beautiful scenery. It’s quite possible that the reindeer are farmed like the sheep. You can buy reindeer meat in Scandinavia. Although nervous of getting too close, unless they were regularly taken to a children’s petting centre where they are regularly touched (like some in the Cairngorms in the UK). It is quite possible that the farmer periodically puts supplementary food out for them, eg. mineral blocks, and might periodically round them up for health checks, so at least if not tame, used to having people near them, hence walking away rather than running away. I’ve had Cairngorms ones sat on the path as I walk by, as they are tame due to being rounded up and taken to the Reindeer Centre, petted by children and take their turn at being Rudolf and pulling the Santa’s sleigh at Christmas at events.
Busy year Liam 👌
Enjoyed so much, like your wee stops along the way.
Your videos keep getting better! Love the drone shots! Always a relaxing watch :)
I loved the narration in this ! Very descriptive - brilliant as always 😊
What a beautiful adventure! Thanks for taking us along :) Always so calming watching your videos.
glad you were with me on that one Liam thats not the kind of wilderness you need to be alone in mate. WHERE WE GOING NEXT ?
Fantastic Trip Liam loved it and I;m so glad you added maps so we can see the route you have taken !
Brilliant. Thank you Liam
Excellent! Thank you!
I always enjoy your conversation and your video. Looking forward to more in the future.

'Oh man, I'm happy ', your enthusiasm and love for the outdoors and the amazing scenery Mother Nature has provided are both palpable and infectious. Brilliant video and as always looking forward to the next. Safe travels Liam 🙂🙂
Living his best life, love your adventures Liam 👏🏻
Watched a few of your videos now Liam, getting better all the time, & respect to you for taking that on 👍
Went to Norway last September and just cannot agree more, it's just a land of superlatives, never been anywhere else like it 🤘🤘
Thanks Liam, another great trek through spectacular scenery. I'm really enjoying that you talk to us, not at us, and including some place names and the fun facts at the end. Looking forward to the next adventure, mate. Cheers.
Amazing Liam wonderful scenery a great walk thanks for sharing it ❤
Brilliant Liam, Your content gets better and better 👏
Norway looks amazing! Some of those river crossings 😮😮. I love your videos, your appreciation of the landscape is second to none
Hi Liam. It’s been a privilege to watch your latest video. Thank you for sharing. It takes real courage and effort to cross a terrain like this, particularly on your own. . Having watched your travels for a long time now, it’s so obvious how much you’ve grown. Your joy in the landscapes and appreciation of nature always delights me. Love your videos.
your videos are like therapy for my mind. so calming. your gratefulness for the little things makes me appreciate my warm home even more :)
Cool to see you go to Norway! I lived in norway until last July and your videos were a major inspiration to go backpacking the two last summers. I'd recommend also going to the high north. There's tons of cool places surrounding the Lofoten area and great trails! (Although Lofoten itself is quite busy.)
Welcome to Norway Liam! I think August was the wetest its ever been in Norway since records began so you picked a good time to visit.
You are one of my favourite CZcamsrs... Great videos - my daughter just came back from jotunheimen a month ago and loved it. Keep up the great work. Two huge thumbs up mate.
Love watching you live your best life! You look so happy!🤗
Loving your appreciation for nature. Beautifully filmed and narrated. Keep exploring! 😊
Amazing video. Thanks so much for making it. I'd love to visit Norway but I can't a-fjord it.
Your videos never cease to amaze bro, keep on inspiring us all
Seemed like a amazing hike. Great video 👍🙂
well done lad..great walk and video.
I love your videos, Liam. You're the best storyteller 💕
Epic adventure. Quite a challenge. Well done! What a beautiful place.
Great video Liam. Have you considered walking the Nordkalottleden trail. A good stretch would be from Kilpisjarvi Finland to Abisko Sweden, 190km. There are non serviced wonderful Norwegian huts every night, 30 euros for a bed or 3 euros for day use if a member. Great wild scenery, few walker's, relatively easy walking. From Abisko where theres a supermarket and large Swedish tourist station you could continue to Kvikkjok on the Kungsleden, gorgeous scenery, huts every night if you wanted, some selling food supplies. You could also continue on another 300 km till the end of the Kungsleden or from Abisko continue on the Nordkalottleden which gets wilder, has some formidable river crossings, huts every night, following Swedish Norwegian border. I hiked it from August 24 till September 16, gorgeous fall colors, tree's, tundra, canyons. You'd like it. There's so many options including into wild Sarek National Park, the best scenery up north but no huts, few bridges, no marked trails.
Great video Liam. do you have any videos for your full pack/ itinerary when you hike? would be great 👍🏻
Absolutely stunning.
mate, found your channel recently due to me wanting to get into hiking and camping and also travel to different couries in the future when i get more experience and better gear - your a real inspiration to just get out there and do it solo
