Maybe, in this clip where he's gingerly (and long windedly) trying to get at a sensitive question, but if in other ones you'll find find frequent comments about how he's one of the only interviewers out there that actually listens these days.

I think it's a lovely interview of Sam Jones by Carrie Brownstein. He really opens up and shares his feelings.
he literally speaks for the first minute and fifteen seconds of the "interview". in fairness she seemed fine with it, it had some useful exposition, and I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt that he speaks for a much lower percentage of his other clips with her.

I counted a minute 17 before she got to say anything beyond “unhmm.”
I think this was just a clip of a longer interview. Dunno. But Terry Gross is great.

You have to get to about 1:14 before you hear Carrie say anything. This interviewer is obnoxiously verbose.
In this 2 minute 46 second ' interview', 1 minute and 17 seconds is a guy with a beard telling us how he felt.
Taking up all the time and space in getting to the point of his question. Geez! So annoying.

WOW! I never would have believed someone else saying it or reading that she is a lesbian. I could totally see her and Fred best friends forever with benefits!
One of my closest girl-friends came out about 9-10 y/a after breaking up with her sons dad. I knew she was bi-sexual, she is gorgeous, and just doesn't carry herself where it is obvious or even noticeable. I've seen plenty of lesbians that dress ladylike, wear makeup, style their hair, etc but there is always something that gives it away to me but I can't find it with Carrie Brownstein.
She is not a lesbian, she is bisexual. Her friendship with Fred has always been non-sexual.
I don't see how it's a bad thing. How long was she planning on hiding a relationship she was in from her parents?
It's her story to tell, she should get to decide who knows what when.
It's hilarious that she was offended by being outed by SPIN, considering all the people and issues she makes fun of on Portlandia.
