Im so glad as someone wfos always been goth/lolita/punk and grunge (REAL GRUNGE, NOT TUMBLR/WHAT YOU GUTS THINK IT IS) ive been laughed at for what i wear and my fashion, so i dont have to worry about what's in fashion anyway
Nothing more annoying than the type of people who bullied you for your fashion choices suddenly adopting the wayered down cersions as soon as its popular
Plus most importantly its terrible for the planet to feel the need yo suddenly buy a whole new wardrobe each year or dven season because of what's now "in"

The vile amount of clothing waste into landfills because of the need to buy a whole new wardrobe rvery time trends change (which happens faster and faster now) is absolutely disgusting overconsumption
And even thrift shops have been ruined by people that go buy everything of value to resell at higher orices
Meaning nothing left for poor people like myself (the original point) and the thrift stores raising prices sometimes just as expensive or NORE than it sild for originally new!
This attitude of overconsumption is actually repulsive
Im a big clothing girlie, but i dont do thus
I buy second hand when possible, im living in poverty so the few nice pieces i have are gifts
I wear them until theyre so broken theyre unwearable
And i dont keep buying new stuff
You shouldn't buy a new outfit for every event
Idk its all gone to shit because of certain rich cunts

You're absolutely right: wear what you want, not what media dictates you, think 10x before you buy something new and think about the impact of your purchase...on another note, with recession, inflation, world-wide instability (not only economicaly, but also geo-politicaly speaking)driving the prices for basic needs (food for example)so high, I wonder who these people are, that go out there and buy a new wardrobe every season?? How do they do it? And why?? What decadent message are they trying to deliver here? To whom?
