Everyone has always said to ALWAYS bath before cutting because it dulls your blades. I was happy to see you do it. My Labradoodle has seizures going to any groomer or our vet now so I am watching tons of videos because I have no choice but to do it. My biggest question is which clipper to purchase since they are expensive & I have to invest in blades/combs. I worry abt hot blades which so many people complain about. I also have a Goldendoodle who I still take. Any suggestions?

For smaller dogs, i have trouble shaving their front legs. Most don't like their leg held. Do you have ant tips?

I got my 12 weeks old female Labradoodle pet from garyjamie01 on Instagram.. Current on shots and vaccine, crate trained. Such a lovely pet
What I don’t like is the way you hold the beard!
I don't understand why you are blowing the cut hair directly into the dog's eyes. And you're using sharp scissors near his eyes as well. The "lines" on his coat did not disappear very well because he was cut uneven. I wouldn't say you didn't do a horrible job; it was obviously what the owner wanted, but I think a little more time working on his coat would suffice. I own a Labradoodle and had to start grooming him myself due to the cost. I know it's not an easy job...they take quite a while to groom being so large and having the coat they do; but before you post videos of grooming these types of dogs on CZcams, you should watch other videos and gain a little more experience first.
Experience is key when grooming. Not everything works out the way we all want it to. When doing what an owner wants may not suffice the viewer watching, and it happens often. Thank you for watching ❤
