    Best video I’ve found on putting the backhoe on and off my tractor. Well done!

    Thanks I needed to see this. I would like to know a ballpark price and what all you got. # of remote valves. Mid PTO ? etc.

      Hi, I want to be helpful but I’m really not the right place to get pricing. There are just too many options and I’m not selling. For some general info for you, I went with a 3039R with mid-pto, e-hydro, rear SCV’s, loader with heavy duty bucket, 385A backhoe with 18” and 9” buckets, a 65” tiller, pallet forks, an iMatch hitch, LED lights, and a ballast box. With tax it was around $50k new. A chunk of change to say the least but I use it all the time. I love it. Hope this helps.

    Great videos. Very informative. Do you think you could do everything your looking to do with a 3033r?

      Thank you. Under normal working conditions the 3033R would be just fine. I chose the 3-series for the frame size and then went with the biggest engine I could get because snow blowing can take a decent amount of power if we get a bigger storm in winter. The other situation that takes a decent amount of power is driving in C-range on the road. I notice that the 3039R does perform better than my old 3210 that had 32hp when I take it down the road. For me, I'm glad I got the 3039R. Hope that helps.

      @@danimalshouse thanks. I’ve been buying and selling, working towards a 3033r. I do a bit of everything. So also looking at the 3039r for the extra HP. Not sure if I need it though. Great videos. I’ll keep watching.

    I guess the 485a you said in comments a mistake cause it says on the hoe 385a. Reason I seen this I have 485 on 3320. Is the boom up hard to control coming back to the store position. Was hoping JD fixed on the 385a model. Wanting to get new tractor soon when they become available again but will not get hoe if not fixed. Thanks

      Yes, sorry, I did say 485 and it is clearly a 385. Good catch. Thanks! I haven't had any problems with the boom up at all, everything has been pretty smooth so far.

    Dan, awesome educational video. Do you use your backhoe much and do you like it? How often do you change it for other attachments?
    My wife, Paula and I are considering a 385A for her 3039R. Your video has caused us to reconsider a tractor mounted backhoe. We did not realize the efficient connecting and disconnecting process.
    Thank you and your videographer for taking the time to make this video.

    What is the price?

    • @danimalshouse
      @danimalshouse  Před 3 lety

      The backhoe was an add-on attachment to the tractor that added about $10,500 to the new tractor purchase. Check www.Deere.com or your local dealer for more info.
