@@AgentSoundWave There is no branching timeline, X7 is after the events of X6 when the world finally recovered, and X8 was a continuation of that with cop chips and self-insane reploids and the defeat of Sigma going into XCM. There's no branch that leads to the Zero series if you keep X's timeline.
For anyone as curious to 4th dimensional lore as I am; The title of this track "Esperanto" gets translated to something along the lines of "The one who hopes" in english.
It could also refer to a well-known attempt at creating a universal language, the language named Esperanto. According to its creator, it was meant as a means of creating a common language that everyone could speak so that communication could be easier and a greater sense of community could be fostered between all people. In a sense, that title's fitting for the last stage of Zero's journey: this place is a place of hope for a tomorrow where humans and Reploids can walk hand-in-hand to a better tomorrow.
By the time you get to mmz4 this soundtrack tells you everything. JOURNEY...and maybe that it's coming to an end. Sad and happy at the same time ya know. Love it. So beautiful!
Lots of emotion packed into this song. Going back to the crash site of Eurasia from X5, the quaint and oddly nostalgic atmosphere, and the ironic finality of it all. I definitely enjoyed the Zero series from beginning to end since it had consistent plots and an ending. I wish the Mega Man series as a whole had less inconsistencies. We need a remake of X6 dammit lol.
Well the way I view x6-x8 is that it is a legit part of the x series timeline, but in order for it to make more sense they need to remake x6 and fix all of the unneeded confusion in order to make the game more enjoyable
The opening part of planet wisp from sonic Colours is really similar to the opening part of this, And both start of in a grassy area, and the nature of both areas are being destroyed by the villain
Ain't nothing consistent about Zero's plot, may be worse than X's. Also X6 isn't inconsistent, just people don't pay attention to the dialogue, Isacc revived Zero, the game directly tells you this in a cutscene with Gate. Game makes a lot more sense if you beat it without finding Zero, makes his ending make more sense as well.
I speak Esperanto and I always liked Megaman, when I discovered that this song is called Esperanto... I couldn't believe it.... This song is incredible.
Best song of the entire MMZ series. It's absolutely gorgeous in a way unfamiliar to Mega Man. There's a bunch of other great tracks, of course, but for me? This is the epitome of a great video game track, and I just love it.

It's funny, touring the place where there was once chaos, destruction and death, as well as being infested by a lethal virus, is now a paradise. A memory of an old era of peace, something haughty, for me is the most beautiful theme of the zero saga
sylphana The levels were fun. For example: caravan, area zero, magnetic zone, underground forest, hanging gardens, particle beam, prison stage, ragnarok control room, teleporter base, teleporter circuit, and ragnarok core.
@@DeskoDev, heavily disagree. Megaman Zero 3 wasn't bad but it did feel bland at times with largely uninspired level design with level concepts, ideas, and themes either not being executed well or being unoriginal. Z3 is a better game that is the refined version of Z1 and Z2 that ends up as nothing but just another Zero game, Z4 is a better experience with unique ideas that aren't always executed properly.
Zero 4’s levels are not as clever or well-designed as Zero 3’s but they’re mostly concise and to the point, which is why I like them. Zero 1 has you revisit areas a lot for its missions and thus it gets pretty stale quickly. Zero 2 has good levels as well, but I personally enjoy Zero 4’s levels more.
How Ironic, that arguably Sigma's most devastating attack on humanity became a spring of hope for them
