For those who do not know, the song is named after the language Esperanto, which was created by linguistics professors in an attempt to get the world speaking one language. The sentiment here is pretty obviously that humans and reploids are learning how to cooperate and live together peacefully, leading into the ZX games.
And later Elysium and the Legends games where "Carbons" are a fusion between Human and Reploid capable of switching bodyparts with metalic components and weapons.
The fact that the name is supposed to mean "the one who hopes" makes it even more fitting, expressing Zero's hopes for a future where humans and reploids can coexist peacefully.
I cannot say this has a “the beginning of the end” vibe, rather a “final hello” vibe. This series really brought out Zero in a way I didn’t think possible, in the X series he was plagued by insecurities and here he is kicking ass on a higher level.
Yeah, it was uploaded almost four years ago. So I kinda guess they stopped supporting Capcom due to their bull**** business practices and some Street fighters rehashes as an addition.
Talonice Pseudonym Yeah, that addition too and the surprising news is Capcom have low budget so that was the result for mistreating not only Megaman but other franchise as well [including milking Street fighter to death which they're currently making ANOTHER VERSION OF SSF4 but this time ULTRA!]When will Capcom get their act together but then again we'll never know. [My apology for the late reply]
So after beating Megaman Zero 4 like a couple weeks ago..man..idk if I'm ever gonna get over that Zero is gone. It was like that with Heihachi Mishima when he was killed by Kazuya. Zero was such a cool, memorable, and legendary character. I know they killed him off alot in the X series but this time I think this is it. And sure if fighting games bring Zero(from Megaman Zero series) as a playable character that's cool but I know deep down, he's with X somewhere in reploid heaven. Im really gonna miss Zero. It hurts that I'll never see him again. That he truly is dead. Not hiding himself to repair himself. Even though he never considered it, he really was a hero. He was my favorite Megaman X character and these games 1-4 really pushed my respect more for the character of Zero. RIP Zero the hero who found out what he was fighting for.
For those who still hope that Zero is alive after the Ragnarok incident, it's wishful thinking. Before the events of ZX, Ciel discovered Model W and created the 6 Biometals, biometal X and Z included. It's not specified how she creates them, but Biometals contain the soul of their respective Hero. So the logical answer is that Zero's (and X's) souls live on in the biometals. Another theory could be that Zero lives on as a Cyber-Elf, but it's all up to imagination... :/ I also believe in Zero's return...one day
I agree with you. It was never specified how reploids became Cyber-Elves, so that is a very believable theory. Both of your theories are believable, and maybe even should be merged into one. Maybe Cyber-Elf Zero was put into the Biometal Model Z, and became it. It's kind of a stretch, but still believable. And besides, we never saw the four guardians (Except Phantom) die, so maybe they eventually became Cyber-Elves. But then a new question arises...Where did Biometal Model A come from? It's likely the Model W stands for Model Weil, but Model A seems to be based on Axl, who we never saw after X8. Maybe he became a Cyber-Elf? This is why we need an X9 and a ZX3.
I personally prefere to think he die becouse that give more meaning to his sacrifice and all those stuff is simbolic so i like to think he die like a true hero
I know it's a late replay, but I can support them again. They put Megaman in the new Smash Bros., and his popularity's surged! This music perfectly displays his spectacular rise from the ashes.
It's been like 5 years ago since i beat the game, but doesn't matter how many years had been passed, i still can't overcome Zero's death and MMZ4 Ending Everytime i hear Esperanto, i feel so sad (Maybe it's just because sounds like "Promise to the next world" and "Freesia") and i Wanna cry just like 5 years ago :'c
"i dont remember ever calling myself a hero, i have always only fought for the people I believe in! IF AN ENEMY APPEARS IN FRONT OF ME, I WILL DESTROY IT!!!!"
When i hear this song, i see a new era comes where bad moments are going to end and the good moments will finally come and the heroes can enjoy how their fighting end, their last Battle is about to start and then they are smiling, 'cause they know their effort has worked for the next generation.
This is the eptiome of how epic the Zero series was. Mega Man was a classic, Mega Man X brought things to a whole new level, and Zero blasted our faces off with more badassery than we can possibly comprehend. Sucks this isn't in the Legacy collection.
I'm 18 years old now and as troubled as my entire life has been so far, Capcom has been the ONLY thing to get any emotional response from me. Sure, they have declined in quality lately, but I truly still believe in Capcom.
despeinado340 idk why but always reminds me of the ending of the game. I can't hear the mmz4 soundtrack without getting sad, especially "Esperanto" and "Promise The Next New World" :'(
Zero is just so cool. Im finally gonna start Mega Man Zero 4 after finishing 1-3 for the first time. I unfortunately know what happens in the end after watching part 1-2 of who exactly is Zero but man idk if my heart'll be ready for the conclusion of Zero 4.
I think that after Inafune started working on other stuff, the Capcom staff felt uncapable of making a brand new Megaman the way he used to. I'm honestly not that mad. For me Megaman is only the Classic, X and Zero series.
I was a little disappointed that they didn't use the Zero model from the X series for Omega during the final fight. Because doing so makes more sense to X5 cuz he went into slumber in that form.
