@@milesbbop9563 They put lots of effort to the new samples but I never liked them except Ashe's intro theme in ZX Advent. They do not really feel like they fit in to the music
This album is awesome, although it really could have used more themes. I personally would have liked Labo to be among the tracks; I feel Ciel's character is somewhat under-represented in this soundtrack. Prismatic, Ragnarok and Combustion would have been great as well. But, oh well. As for this track, in my opinion this version is better than the original and the IDEA soundtrack one. >_>
If you were to replicate (btw they are called reploids) a person or entity, you would gather information and have it be in form of data. A human 'soul' is essentially data, but we have limitations in gathering said data. So for these reploids, these machines that look like humans, their personality is somehow grown throughout their creation and experience in their 'life' as one would say. Biometals would not have all the data, or said life experience to remember all their past life.
@x1NeMeSiS1x wait a minute...so i was just in denial when i told myself all these years that he simply just threw away his battered helmet and went his merry way? NOOOOO ZERRROOOOO!
@slickaznmike Ciel created the Biometals after discovering Model W to counter it. She doubtlessly could have transferred Zero or X's consciousnesses to the Biometals, except that she'd have nothing to transfer them from. The Guardians were all presumably killed, X was killed, Zero's death is unconfirmed. But my point is, if they were around the have their consciousnesses transferred, why bother at all? Without a doubt, they wouldn't need to be Biometals to handle Model W, they could do it as-is.
@SuperSketch008 Cyber -elves aren't some inherent thing that all machines posses: they were created near the end of the Maverick Wars. Taking that fact into account, there is, perhaps, a sort of process involved to turn a sentient machine's consciousness into a Cyber-Elf (a process developed near the end of the Maverick Wars). Correct me if I'm wrong, but mechaniloids don't have the sentience required to be a Cyber-Elf. I think it would be more correct to say that they're like a virus.
@SuperSketch008 Interesting, I'll have to look at that then. I was always under the impression that the technology was created (from what I read in the games). Thanks for the information: however, I do still stand on my belief that mechaniloids don't have cyber-elves. Hopefully there will be a perfectly clear answer on that matter given in the future (c'mon ZX3).
@SuperSketch008 When I was speaking of the viruses, I wasn't saying that mechaniloids are turned into viruses then sent into cyber-space: what I meant was that the viruses were created within cyber space and thus exist there as a program of sorts.
They don't transfer consciousness in the Zero series, they transferred 'personality data' or 'memories' along with the powers that people would have 'thought' that the heroes had.
@SuperSketch008 Yeah, that's what I was trying to get at earlier. The definition of a Cyber Elf includes sentience, which mechaniloids obviously don't have. The Reaverbots, for instance, are programmed to exterminate any "intruders", and are not willing to reason. Ahh, speaking of Reaverbots, I can't wait for Legends 3 xD I've waited 10 damn years for that game.
@Harpuia7 Unless Zero's body got damaged beyond repair, and the only way to save him was to transfer his conciousness. The point is, all we can do is argue about parts of the plot that haven't been decided yet. When it comes right down to it, we can't know for sure.
@Brannvarsel I somewhat agree. However, those tracks he mentioned should only just be added and not replace anything. Also this whole album should've been longer.
Btw, cyber elves in the game, bypasses all logic or rules on the 'life' of reploids. Think of them as the god cells of machinery. Ciel used one to revive Zero, granted zero wasn't dead, but was in a state of inanimation. But if a strong enough cyber elf were to attempt to revive zero, it wouldn't be a perfect revival, or even a 'copy' of Zero. It would likely be a ghost in a shell type of reploid.
Sand triangle? They wasted one of the slots of the last Megaman Zero soundtrack ever on sand triangle? They picked sand triangle over crash V? They picked sand triangle over falling down? They picked sand triangle over Ragnarok? They picked sand triangle over X, THE LEGEND!? I am facepalming like no man has ever facepalmed before.
Crash IV is good but doesn't deserve to be Mythonized. Ragnarok is barely upbeat enough. X,The Legend also has the same problem as Ragnarok. And Falling Down already has a really hardcore remastered. And I'm pretty sure Mythos only picks the song that was voted by fans so you could take your hand, and shove it up your a$$.
This song kicks so much ass it isn’t even a joke
