- Interview from probably June 1973 on KUNM radio in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Tim at his sharp-witted and cynical best, accompanied by Judy and drummer Buddy Helm. Includes discussion on the media, the music industry and politics.
It’s uncanny how Tim and Jeff have that similar sense of humor, their handsome focused, yet loose looks, open-mindedness and endless curiosity and passion.

They have the same exact voice especially when they're speaking like I cant differentiate Jeff and Tim's voice half the time its almost haunting.
This interview sounds sped up. Tim's voice is lower

I wonder if Tim could have ever imagined the world 50 year years later. A world where we can watch and hear clips of him speaking and singing all over the planet. And of course recordings of his amazingly talanted son Jeff. RIP Tim and Jeff. Both gone too soon. Thanks for the beautiful music.
WOW! I saw Tim in Bellingham in 1971, was 16, had just run away from home, changed my life. and Starsailor might be one of the best albums ever recorded.
wow! that was his last show of the Starsailor era (17th January '71) before having 18 months off from music.

It’s strange because Jeff sounded just like him and looked like him. He could NOT say that Jeff was not his son! They’re twins!

Did Tim have any sisters or brothers? If he did, were there any other musicians in his family?
He had a younger sister named Katherine who was born in 1958. His dad apparently had a good singing voice, but never went into music himself
There is a definite clash between Tim and the main interviewer here initially. Both are combatant and then Tim goes onto another level in terms of being opinionated. Not one of the most appealing Tim Buckley interviews. I think he might be high.
