- This is a 50% Bill Hemple Pitts biplane with a 6 cylinder Kolm four stroke engine. The engine is a brand new set up. I was told by Simon that the engine will run a round $10K. Thanks for watching and please LIKE & SUBSCRIBE.

Pitts Special is such a beautiful airplane. And this one is huge. Sounds great. I flew line controlled planes very basic. Never had the time or money to make it to radio control. But what I see flying nowadays really is amazing.

Evidently you’ve never been to Triple Tree / Joe Nall because there’s nothing stupid about it. You have PLENTY of room between you and the trees. 😁👌🏼
If you think these maneuvers are difficult to fly in a 1:1 scale, just try them with an RC. It's 10 times more difficult.

My only criticism is that the maneuvers were “RC” and not the same as Shawn Tucker. His full scale aerobatics include tons of lomcevaks and knife edge spins. Here I saw a 360 deg knife edge turn that is impossible full scale. Otherwise lived it!

That is a Kolm goofy. 😂 That’s their big 6 cylinder boxer. About a $15k engine.
