This is short is my little letter to Kurosawa, Kobayashi, Sergio Leone, Ennio Morricone and the incredible team at Sucker Punch Studios & Sony for creating the stellar experience Ghost of Tsushima. Thank you all for influencing us to make this vingette, one that has taken a super long time to create. From making costumes to coordinating shooting dates to location scouting to the insane amount of post-production all while trying to balance our other projects that you've seen on this channel. But a year after our Kickstarter campaign began, we finally heckin' did it. If you enjoyed it, it'd be awesome if you could chuck us a like or subscribe to watch our other shorts. Great use of Ennio Morricone's The Man With The Harmonica, you can tell this was made by a fan of samurai & spaghetti westerns (which is exactly my taste), impressive work!
This felt like a scene that would've been in a Kurosawa movie if he were still alive and making movies today

This is incredibly well made. The Kurosawa and Ghost of Tsushima influences are notable. I love the detail of the sound effects from Ghost, as well as the super unique shot of the combat being done just outside the panning camera for us to see the aftermath and hear the viscerality of it.
Well worth the wait.
They better get you on the Ghost of Tsushima movie production team.

Was only going to watch for a few seconds for the Thor reference, got so hooked I watched the whole thing! Seriously incredible. No dialogue and you still managed to give me chills by the end of it. Great freaking job!

I had to watch this twice. Once with the sound and once without it. This goes hard either way. Visually it’s all there. The intensity of all the small focused movements. The lighting. The score. *chefs kiss*
I knew that the protagonist was the blue Power Ranger! The "Once Upon a Time in the West" OST with the samurai design looking proves how Western and Samurai genre are so equal! Pretty good job. PS: I got the Gladiator reference too!
