Do more info video on that BMW, because it looks like a nice car and if it runs and drives fine I'm surprised it has a junk title. The only reason I could see it being a junk title is if it was a cash for clunkers trade-in that snuck through the required engine destruction process unscathed or if it was illegally imported
Just take out a seat from another traverse with a blown motor. its probably way cheaper than paying someone else to fix it.

I think the problem with the traverse is even though the yard may have The parts needed to fix the airbags from other vehicles they don't have the license to do the proper inspection and certification needed to get a rebuilt title to allow that traverse to be registered. A lot of states require vehicles with salvage titles that have undergone the repairs needed to be inspected by a licensed mechanic who was familiar with salvage title vehicles in order to be issued a rebuilt title and it's a way more in-depth inspection than your standard state inspection

I use to have a dealers license but the used car lot I use to work for closed I never got the paperwork to get it reissued so I am out of the picture . I hope you find a buyer for those two beautiful vehicles
