I rarely ever have been asked to show proof of fare with my tap card. I seen them but they never ask me to show it. They will ask for your tap card that you payed and entered legally but only on those rare occasions
I remember back in 2014 when I was going to community college i would always jump the gate for the redline. I never payed for that shit and I never will. Fuck the mta and the city of Los Angeles.

About time they put security guards on the mta subway metro stations. They are needed. So many people get mugged and beat up.
