"The way is in training." Musashi. I get the impression that a lot of these published "experts" do not train often, if at all. I have met a couple of them and, when I suggested that we run kata together, they looked at me like I had just handed them a fresh turd. I do not have much use for any of these folks who do not train regularly or who will not train with a peer. A true karateka should be ready and willing to train with anyone at any time there is the opportunity. If you have written all kinds of stuff about kata then, by God, I want to see some.
