- Whew..."Vogue" by Madonna! This song is an absolute classic and as huge fans of the Queen of Pop, we are thrilled to listen to it again. We can already feel the energy building up inside me as the iconic beat starts to play. The way Madonna's voice effortlessly glides through each verse is just amazing and it's impossible not to feel like a superstar when listening to this song. The chorus is so catchy and we can't help but sing along and strike a pose just like she did in the music video. Madonna truly revolutionized the music industry with "Vogue" and listening to it just makes me feel alive and unstoppable!

In 2022, the staff of Billboard ranked at number one this performance in their "22 Best VMAs Performances of All Time". We don't see this kind of performance in VMA nowadays.
It was a Iconic performance even decades later!
No lie. It was a great performance. Still is amazing all these years later. ❤👍🏿
and she didn't sing a note.
@@francescobattisti9926obviously, it’s a live video performance! ☕️
@@Xfile1947 a live choreography. I think Madonna was a great artist. Ai really appreciate her If she could sing too she would have been a monster.
Madonna was qlways great at brining issues to the forefront and always pushed the boundaries. She wasnt aftaid of contravery, she embraced it!
She did “brine” the issues. Like subjugating queer culture, stealing lyrics and melodies, and generally being unoriginal. There’s a reason why she’s totally over now lolllll. Catchy but crappy music gets you as far as 2002.
@@angeloc.6550😂😂you’re so wrong guy. Good luck
@@angeloc.6550 Subjugating queer culture? Oh please. 🙄 No one was giving any attention to the gays when everyone was dying of AIDS. They were mocked, judged and held in contempt at the time of this release. This is a life affirming song when the Reagan administration literally laughed at everyone dying. Two of the men in this performance had HIV and were terrified. Madonna showcased them as royalty while middle white America looked away. No one, not Michael, not Whitney, not Prince, not Cher, not anyone went as hard for the gays as her. So please, spare us with this stupid critique I keep seeing that lacks a ton of context.
Remember well, until this song came out, I had never taken Madonna seriously. After Vogue, she held my attention and respect!
MADONNA ❤
I went into 3 of her concerts... incredible energy
The Queen of Pop. The best selling female recording artist of all time! Her Majesty! Long live the Queen!
Facts ❤
This song was a MONSTER hit for Madonna, was on Vert Heavy rotation on many radio stations( including the one I worked for) being played every 42 minutes.
Great reaction, guys.
I'd recommend her VMAs performance of "Express Yourself" (1989) or "Sooner or Later" at the Oscars (1991).
Or really just any live performance from any tour she's ever done because she is just phenomenal live. No one like her.
Thank you for the suggestion. 😊👍🏿❤
Agreed--this performance and those two form a perfect triogy of sublime Madonna performances. She's freaking incredible. :)
Everytime she performs Vogue in tour she does it in a different and unique way. The official video is iconic. I recommend 'Express Yourself' from her Blond Ambition tour (Paris).
Thanks for the suggestion. 😃👍🏿
I am in awe, especially when recognition came from straight men for she's mostly known as ally to the LGBT's,. best of all the verification from black community (with respect) whom I regarded with high musicality standard gives a chill on me, just wow what a validation!!! This only shows how the world would be if we all have an open heart and mind, love, peace, justice and equality is never too far to attain...for that's what Madonna's message is all about...Thank you so much, and more power !!!
Madonna is queen forever
She is amazing! No doubt. ❤👍🏿 -- Corey Roy
Madonna The Queen of Pop
Can't wait to see her new tour version,I'm sure it will be spectacular! Great reaction guys!
I've been a fan for 39 years and Jan. 9th 2024 in Boston M.A. I'll be seeing her live the first time ever and I'm beyond excited.
@josephprovencher6345 Happy for you to finally see her! Can't believe we are finally getting closer to the beginning of the tour.
Madonna a 🐐!
I just got into her music over the past year. I slept on her for so long 😂 she got a lot of hits.
Welcome to the journey! We are big Madonna fans! We like to introduce people to all genre of music. We are learning ourselves!!
I’m new here and have got to say, I’m in love with the dude in the middle during the reaction, living his best life. So cool to see the effect Madonna has on him. ❤
Thank you! I was really enjoying it. 😊❤ -- Corey Roy
She single handedly made ot OK to play dance music on the Radio again . Like her or not She made everyone have to step up their game .
Great Madonna reaction! More Madonna reactions!! You will continue to be amazed, inspired and thrilled!
Thank you, We will
More Madonna please, "Live to tell" live from Confessions tour
Thanks for the suggestion..we'll definitely check it again. 😊❤
So I don't know if y'all know this or not but in the early 80s Madonna also did a live performance of her song Like a Virgin on MTV on their award show and it was awesome
The one and only. Stuff of legend. That’s how you make em.
😃👍🏿
Long Live The Queen Of Pop!!!👑
would love to see you reacting to madonna live at the 95 Britt awards.
Thanks for the suggestion. 😊
Your reactions were spot on. Laughing at the right spots, and in awe in the right spots. This was the best performance of Madonna ever of all time. Even though she lipsynced it, it didn’t matter and people didn’t care. The costumes, choreography and theme for this performance was brilliant. Madonna at this time was at her peak. After this, she was on top of the world for a while but started fading slowly. Of course now a days, she’s been done for the past 10 years now and kinda ruined her legacy. I’ve been to two concert tours of Madonna’s, but her upcoming Celebration Tour will be a complete dud. If the tour even happens. It’s already been postponed due to her illness. And now, she is having an incredibly hard job even preparing for the show with her knee wrapped, barely able to dance. I have a feeling the tour is going to be either postponed again, or cancelled altogether. I mean, shes what? 65 now?
Man oh man did the comment about her tour age really poorly
She was flawless! They all were.
React to Madonna “Vogue” from the 1993 Girlie Show world tour
Love Madonna❤
Please more Madonna rections! You guys are awesome!
Thank you so much for the love. Glad you enjoyed the video. We'll definitely be doing more Madonna. 😊❤
You should give the Live version of Vogue from the Re-Invention tour (the full version of that .. as there are edited versions) and the live version from The Sticky and Sweet tour.
Queen of music
She is
Thanks so much for doing this. I am a big Madonna fan and loved this performance. Not 1800's Victorian times though...these looks were based on Marie Antoinette and the French court in the late 1700's. I remember it was so unexpected at the time, since it had such a different look than the video.
Her super bowl show tho ❤
this was based on marie antoinette! this was one of her most iconic performances.
Loved this reaction 🙌🏼
Madonna ❤❤
Very few people are on this level. Madonna is the 6th most selling artist man or women or band of all time.
Queen 👑 for life.
Great Reaction Guys! Enjoyed it. Madonna relevant 40 years now. Amazing career.
Glad you enjoyed the reaction. 😃❤
Precisamos de mais reações da rainha. Vcs são ótimos. Obrigada!
Madonna Super bowl 2012, wonderful!
More Madonna reactions pls
Absolutely. You got it!! ❤❤
The official video to this is a work of art. Well worth watching! Madonna payed homage to gay and trans Black and Brown people who created the “ballroom “ scene in NY which included “ voguing”.
More of the Queen.
We'll definitely do more.
I would recommend the documentary she had done about the concert tour she did around this time. It's called Madonna: Truth Or Dare(1991) and it really shows the good, the bad and the ugly about touring. She is almost arrested in Toronto. It's a fun watch. Enjoy. Thank you.
Awesome. Thanks for the suggestion.
So ya'll pretend you haven't seen this video before?
Damn! People do anything for clicks and likes these days.
"I don't remember this performance!"Where have you lived? Under a rock?
What have people like you been doing around 1990-1996?
This performance and her "Sooner And Later" at the Oscars raised her above Michael with ease!
The level of artistry, humor, professionalism, artistry and perfection won't ever be reached by any female performer.
Ever!
She was the one who put gays , Latinos and Black people in her videos, exposed them and their talents to a new audience and was living what people call "woke" today!
Madonna did it all.
She supported rap and hiphop, was the first person to put The Beastie Boys on the map by taking them on tour in 1985 , she spoke against censorship in music ....and dated 2PAC!
Madonna IS IT!
Thanks for sharing. Love your reactions. My all time favorite VMA performance.❤❤
So good!
Hey!
More Madonna ❤️ please. The blonde ambition please
Like a Prayer from the Sticky and Sweet Tour, Ray of Light from Oprah, and Live to Tell from the Confessions tour are all good options.
WoW

Confessions opening

Showed her star power. 7.5M views??!!
Really great reaction to this iconic performance! I remember being so excited to watch this when it was on MTV and everyone was talking about it the next day it was the most talked about performance obviously. Have you guys watched her 1989 MTV performance of Express yourself? That's another good one!
Love this! Thank you guys for sharing this video and giving props/respect to the queen of pop and the fact that she has always been for the lgbtq+ and all minority groups. This performance is EPIC!!! TIMELESS!!! And AHEAD OF IT'S TIME!!! You guys should review more of her live performances.
Guys, great reaction! I really hope you will react to her brilliant Oscars performances in 1991 and 1997
Love this performance. And though she sang it live every night on tour at the time, this was lip-synced. But between the corset, the dress, and the one-shot choreography, she could never have sang live that night.
She was channeling Marie Antoinette
New here
Awesome reaction ❤
For the record gentlemen, she wasn't dressed like Queen Victoria. She's dressed like Marie-Antoinette and her court.
Queen Victoria was way more conservative and would never have stepped out in public looking like that

The thing about Madonna is audiences can’t keep up with her. Just when you’re astonished and loving what she’s doing she’s moved onto something else. You gotta be open minded and curious to move with her.
Watch her VMA 93' performance of Bye Bye Baby
Check out the documentary.."Strike A Pose" (2016) . How Madonna treated those wonderful dancers after the tour ended. 😢😢😢
If you want to see the actual vogue dance moves watch the original video. They jam.
This is also Voguing. Vogue dance has a lot of styles, it is almost a freestyle dance
fun fact: the dress Madonna is wearing here is the same dress that Glenn Close wears in Dangerous Liaisons .
The 3 white fans used in this performace sold at auction last year for $75,000.00 for the set.
Is has nothing to do with what you said.
Vogue is a glamour magazine. You "vogue" pose for magazine photos. She mentions many actors/actresses from the golden era of Hollywood. If you know classic movies of the 1920's to the 1960's, you know these names.
Greta Garbo and Monroe (Marilyn Monroe)
Dietrich and DiMaggio (Marlene Dietrich Joe DiMaggio (baseball player), Joe was married to Marilyn Monroe during the time she filmed The Seven Year Itch.
Marlon Brando, Jimmy Dean (James Dean, only made 3 movies before he was killed in a car crash September 30, 1955)
Grace Kelly, Harlow, Jean (Jean harlow 30's actress and was once married to Howard Hughes (look him up)
Picture of a beauty queen
Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire (both dancers and actors) Fred usually danced with Ginger Rogers in his movies.
Rita Hayworth gave good face
Lauren, Katherine, Lana too (Lauren Bacall, Katherine Hepburn, Lana Turner) Lauren 20 years younger than Bogart was married to Bogart until his death.
Bette Davis, we love you
Thank you so much for that information. It makes so much sense now as to why she mentions their names. Thanks for the insight. -- Corey Roy
@THIS IS IT Reactions
You are very welcome! I absolutely love classic films of the Golden age of Hollywood so I knew all those names before the song came out. I even love silent movies. I pretty much only watch old sitcoms and classic movies.
Wow, this was great additional information and adds great context she’s halfway wrong. The song is literally talking about the art form of Vogueing
React to Britney 2000 opps I vma
it's not victorian outfits, it's 1700s fashion, marie antoinette type stuff
It's so refreshing to see old head black dudes not being homophobic because she had so many gay male dancers of color.
The point of this one to focus on the performance & the choreography. And most ballroom shows no one sings. Hence why she lip sings & there’s no mic.
Sorry Queen B but this the 1st one
Not dog walk, cat walk. :)
My bad. I meant to say duck walk. -- Corey Roy
Thumbs down for the guy on the left of the screen who spent more time looking elsewhere than at the performance and missed half of the iconic moments. The other 2 guys were great!
LOL! He was looking out of it...LOL. 🤣🤣 -- Corey Roy
Vibeology paula Abdul live MTV music awards 1991
Stupid how people don't know she's lipsticking & mad
Where's the mic or headset
She's not hiding
Watch Like A Prayer..
We definitely will. Thanks for the suggestion. ❤❤
The Hip Hop Heads getting into this very gay perfomance...good for them!
I know I'm late but she is NOT singing live
Art performance. Ballroom/drag culture is also about lip-sync
@@billiejoearmstrong3741 yes, but they think she is singing live.
Where these people have been living their whole life?
These three guys thinking she’s actually singing this is funny. She never sung a single note in this performance.
Art performance. Ballroom/drag culture is also about lip-sync
You all talk way to much.
Please learn something about it before You talk about....
Thanks 😊
She bought the costumes from the film dangerous liaisons
The amount of gay culture stuffs in this performance that went under most peoples radar astounds me. Gaga screams gay gay gay gay gay lgbtq w.e incessantly.. but she doesn't slip shit under peoples noses like Madonna did.
