We just grub it with skidsteer and grapple bucket. Turn the teeth down and comb it. Then we level it off and drill it with seed. Way too many rocks and if you break the ground with a disc or plow, you just pull all roots to the surface. Just cover it when you level and plant

Why not opt for mulching over burning to enrich the soil?
Try to use the equipment we got vs renting or spending $$$
What size is your excavator. I’ve been wanting to buy something to clear my property but can’t make my mind up.
KX 80 is the size of our excavator, it will handle most needs, maybe a bit slower on the big stumps but plenty for our farm
