- In this video I share some quick DNS setting adjustments that can substantially improve PlayStation 4 Network download speeds and online multiplayer experience, while reducing seriously unwanted ping and lag. I perform the test after adjusting some DNS numbers, and include a couple of my most favorite and popular DNS codes that can help boost your connection as well!

Woah nicely done my guy, I was stuck at 1.3mbps, used your Google one, dropped down to 660kbps, Used the cloudflare one and the internet bumped up to around 5.4mbps and it sawed through the download time from 18 to 10, While not exactly revolutionary it is somewhat handy, I thank you

Researching this information for a friend, my ps4 seems to be getting better with age somehow, but as others have mentioned, your doing something with your time that's not for your own benefit, I dig it, liked, subbed, commented, saved, will share on fb ps4 forum , hope you keep doing these tutorials incase I do need someday very informative, breakdown info for the less tech savvy person like myself

Well this video was very helpful my download speed always stayed at like 6.8 Mbps I put in the cloudflare and my download speed jumped up to 54.7 Mbps so thank you
Bro the cloud flare one worked for me, currently downloading cyberpunk and it got my download from 99+ hours to 36! On top of that my speed was still a kilobite and it went up to megabytes!! Thank you!!

I've tried both but for me, sticking with the easy wifi is the fastest for me. I really appreciate the hope but it may just be my provider or my router that is already allowing the best connection by doing the easy hook up method.
That's good! Sometimes the default ISP connection is the best. The most important part is that we are continually testing and retesting these new connection inputs and finding the one that best suits our PSN online setup!

Isaiah This is an interesting question. Changing the DNS during a download should not make an impact and should simply pause the download. Once an internet connection is re-established it should continue to download from where it left off
