- I had a customer postpone his job last minute which gave us the opportunity to catch up on all the washing, sealing and punch list items that have been piling up.

I have been a Contractor in Fort Worth Texas , since 1972. I first saw one of your "tutorial shorts" on CZcams .. afterwards , I watched most of your full videos . Your dedication to your profession is fantastic! Your videos are excellent resources for not only your customers or potential customers..but for those starting out or even those that have been in Concrete for years .

I don't live in Milwaukee area ( I have actually done three restoration projects and did the masonry work on two churches in Milwaukee , one on Fon Du Lac Ave and one right off Silver Spring Road .both in 1989 .

Don't worry about a ''down turn''. I am in business for 40 years and I treat a ''down turn'' as a cleansing process. It gets rid of the ''fly by night operators. The established operators and genuine guys will always survive. The trick is to keep your ''over heads'' to a minimum.
As a homeowner, I put a few projects on hold and plan to reschedule them when the inflation levels off and the stock market shows signs of improvement.

It really is a sad affair how low we've sunken as a society. People have lost any meaningful connection to reality that they have to pour their entire identity into pop-politics tribalism. To the point where they screech at an innocent joke on a youtube channel that has nothing to do with politics. And this happens on both sides of the political spectrum. People just lose their minds. It just so happens that you became a target for the ire of one camp.
Anyway, appreciate your work and channel Ryan. You've built a great thing for yourself, family, employees and customers through Victory. I say this as someone who has nothing to do with the concrete game. And an avid anti-Trumper. Im very lucky. Im an ironworker for a company who literally has jobs lined up and ready to go for probably 2-3 years. And they put out 100 estimates a year. At least half of them we get. I haven't been laid off since i started 13 years ago. Other than 1 week for covid and maybe 3 days a few years ago. I consider myself quite fortunate

ay yo thats my job put that lance down! im going through a similar thing at the moment, client is getting angry a job isnt finished but insists on being there, but she only has weekends free so i need to go on a weekend which im not willing to do, so she books a day off work instead but its a day i cant do as im booked elsewhere. 1 day job that i could do without her there has been going on for about 2 months now. Crazy people!

yeah he can survive an economic downturn no problem lol you just gotta know how to save your money if you’re making that much money on the years that do good. Like real estate you could make 200 grand a year and the next year make 50 so make sure you only spend a flat rate no matter how much you make, on jobs that are not consistent and can vary in pay, you be carful.

Because politics became theater. I'll never forget being in Berkley Ca a few year's ago and happening upon a protest. No lie, it was more intense than going to a raiders vs 49ers game. People had their faces painted and carrying signs. Then they started hitting each other. It was violent for no reason.
I don't understand why he even introduced politics in the videos, I was happy without that but he keeps bringing it up :/ He moans about fake reviews but then encourages people to leave them. I love his videos and just wish politics stayed out of them.
That customer was understandable to be fair. One time I had a dryer being delivered and I had to cancel the concrete because we all know those two things CANNNOT happen at the same time by Wisconsin and federal law!!!!
