This documents a day in the life of a gangster on the Cape Flats(Areas allocated to so called "Coloured" and Black people) South Africa, in particular The Ugly Americans☆[UA] in Rocklands, whom I have grown up observing my entire life, I for one....do not support nor do I condone this lifestyle however to some it is a means to an end, a sense of belonging and a way to earn respect by any means possible What you see is blood thirsty monsters(which is true to an extent) What I see is ordinary people whose lives were shaped to rebel, living for anarchy and lawlessness, life on the edge as a result of dysfunctional families, poverty,poor mindsets, absent parents and no heroes. A product of an evil regime,marginalized...overlooked i.e self destruct...and so we do Had it not been for religion, "Coloured" people would have nothing to latch onto but the "culture" we have adopted, which I won't say means nothing as I am part of it however our true identities was stolen, how does a race group that comprises of 7 different nations find unity? We were forced to co exist and at the end of the day...to each his own This is a sensationalised and exaggerated account of what life is actually like in Rocklands, the most remarkable load of shit I have ever heard, yet to whom ever views this documentary, perceives me as narrated, which to me is a fuck up of cataclysmic proportion,unfortunately in this world we live in... perception is reality ◇RIP André Gideon AKA ☆Anies☆ , André appeared (was USED) in a few music videos for the South African Rap/Rave group Die Antwoord - • Video ; André was unfortunately murdered in December 2020 while defending his daughter whom he loved dearly. I knew him personally and as you can see, he was no angel however there is always a spark of good in everyone, he saved my life one day...
