Some solid pickups there Roy! I'm also after that Premium edition of Chinatown too. That 4K set is just too expensive, and I much prefer that classic artwork, so I'm hoping HMV will do another 2 for 15 soon. I'll be curious to see what you make of The Integrity of Joseph Chambers. It's one I'd like to get, as I saw that directors other film 'The Killing of Two Lovers' and it was quite affecting to say the least. Same actor in both as well. Ah absolutely gutting about buying the bluray set instead of the 4K, I've definitely been there when I've clicked 'buy' too quickly after seeing a good price! If it makes you feel any better, twice now, I've actually bought a film in 4K and then watched the bluray by accident! I did it with Arrival and then recently with The Abyss, believe it or not. Everyone and their grandma is talking about the 4K of The Abyss, and there I go and watch the bluray!
Hi Warren. As a family not too long ago we sat down to watch Batman Begins on 4k. I was underwhelmed by the transfer and discovered at the end that I had put the bluray disc in. If only cex had priced up those 2 Psycho sets up differently I'd have been fine. Such is life! I will give The Integrity of Joseph Chambers a watch and then I'll send it on to you so you can find out for yourself. I think they priced it wrong as it was a couple of quid for literally minutes.
Out of The Past is a fantastic noir, loved it. Agree with all you said re Polanski, plus Chinatown is a frickin’ awesome film! Saw Kermit’s shout out, what a nice man he is, always enjoy his Monday Blu-ray videos.
Hello Neil. Larry is always quick off the mark with a surprise. I often hear the letterbox rattle when I haven't ordered anything. I took a chance with Don't Breathe as I was 50/50 on whether I had it when I saw it in the shop. Turned out that I didn't. I must get an app system but the work that it's going to involve scares me haha
@@roybarratt5609 I don’t use it myself but have seen numerous times that people like the CLZ movies app for keeping a record of their collection. You can scan the barcodes to add or manually enter the details. It does require a subscription though….Personally I just use Letterboxd and set up lists for DVDs and blu rays that I have. But if you are particular about keeping a record of different editions of a movie then that might not be ideal (or you set up more lists eg My Arrow blu rays, My Eureka blu rays etc)

HMV are currently doing 2 for £15 on those sets.
