I feel like Rat Catcher could have been interesting. He could have been utilized to mess with a player's playstyle and give us a thing to worry about in the vents and floor grates or even messed with Batman's gadgets like chewing through your gear for a segment

He would have made for a great sewer mission. His first appearance in the comics is actually pretty fucked up. He's got an underground prison of people who "wronged" him that have been down there for years.
Wow. That is such an interesting but frightening idea: rats infesting vents if you become too dependent on them!
Now that I think about it, most grates and ventilation systems in all of the 4 games are fairly clean and lack pests. That doesn't make too much sense given how dirty and littered Gotham City is.
I wish Rocksteady came up with something like this when they were developing Arkham Knight.

Origins is very loosely connected to the arkhamverse So personally I kind off think that Gotham knights is a secret sequel to origins because they made a big court of owls Easter egg in origins and Gotham knights has who the court of owls I really hope this is true

How to say it?
I absolutely love Mad Hatter but his place as a side mission villain in Origins would have been perfect for Ventriloquist. They teased him so much in the series to not use him at least once. An Easter egg in City confirmed he was alive then (even if he presumably died and was succeeded by Peyton Riley between then and Knight), so there is no excuse. I would have been fine with the copious amounts of references if they used him at least once.
I disagree. They should've replace Black Mask's Drug Stashes side mission with Scarface and Ventriloquist in Arkham Origins, that would've been better if the main story of Arkham Origins was different than what it ended up being.
I think Maxie Zeus would've been an awesome villain in the Arkham series. Think about it, there could've been an epic boss fight in the Mount Olympus nightclub, with all the electricity and Greek mythology and stuff.
Also, the Court of Owls being in the Arkham series is a cool concept.

The ventriloquist and scarface would be my most wanted missing villain. He's actually my favorite rogue. I love him!
id of had the Ventriloquest half way in a doorway, thanking Batman for coming to the asylum and Batman just freezes on the spot and tells him "show me your hands, Now!" And he slowly reveals the Scarface doll, who calls him a dummy before opening up on Batman with his tommy gun.
I actually kinda wanted him to be a villain in Matt Reeves Batman trilogy. Knowing how the series is set to be a psychological horror, Ventriloquist and Scarface can actually bring up the horror factor a lot.
I really loved The Batman (2004) villain gearhead. I know that loads of people took issue with Arkham Knight's bat-tank reliance, but if you had to chase a gearhead who keeps taking different vehicles that are actually unique to chase (e.g motorbike, drone, etc) and it cumulated with a batmobile theft or something then I would have really enjoyed that.
Imagine a segment where you have to fight the bat tank as Batman or one of the others 👀

Hell, Andrea Beaumont has a very subtle reference in Arkham Origins!
She easily could've been impleted in a stand alone Arkham Game along with the Court of Owls. Maybe instead of her father being involved with the mob he's a member of the Court of Owls and wants out which ultimately leads to his death and Andrea's path of revenge.
Phantasm would've been awesome! Playing Origins again, when is Andrea Beaumont referenced?

Y'know... I loved the movie and all, but I can never get over the fact that the Phantasm is basically the backstory of the Huntress, who is someone who should have turned up in Arkhamverse.
Honestly, Andrea/Phantasm would have made things in the series more interesting where we can get more development for her. Also, maybe I'm wrong to decide this, but if she was the Arkham Knight (Not Jason), I think that would be interesting.....
I'd love to see a chance to take on those very minor rogues that don't even get noticed most of the time - Kite Master, Crazy Quilt, the Mime all the really forgotten villains
Crazy Quilt was mentioned in Arkham city but for some stupid reason never should up in game wish he was episodic dlc along with Maxie Zeus. Maybe a side mission idea is that someone is steal certain supplies in jokers area and try’s to take over Arkham city and Batman has come and stop him.

There's a bunch of them, lt would have been fun to have some of the worst villains in the series show up for a team up mission.
would have been fun to have the Clue Master instead of the Riddler in arkham origins, and Nigma was instead still working at the gcpd to capture him. Would have been something cunny to have their "rivalry" start with batman defeating the Clue Master and Nigma taking it to an personal level.
Image instead of getting the "new character" in arkham knight we got a storyline involving Prometheus. For me thats one of if not the biggest missed opportunities in the Arkhamverse.
I also wish instead of just being mentioned in the Arkham City stories, the Falcone and Maroni families also appeared in the Season of Infamy DLC.
Well there is 3 games popping out of WB: Arkham Knights, Suicide Squad, and one other that has yet to be shown so we have plenty of chances for some of these characters to show or even more seeing that the justice league will be involved with suicide squad.
@Logabo I agree with having Prometheus be in Knight, but I personally don't think that the Falcone and Maroni families would've fit in well in Season of Infamy. I think they would've fit in better in Origins or in one of the Season Pass DLCs in Knight.

My idea of Prometheus would've been this:
He'd being portrayed as a black man whose parents (who were actually innocent people who were racially profiled) were gunned down by corrupt cops.
Rather than being a psychopath, this version of Prometheus would be a vengeful revolutionary who wants to destroy the Gotham police from the inside, and heavily reform it. Basically he'd have Gordon's goal, but in a more violent twisted fashion. Prometheus would also despise Batman for siding with the police rather than joining his cause.
I'm also thinking Prometheus as a child would've actually looked up to Batman before his parents' demise, and thought the Dark Knight would bring their killers to justice.

I REALLY wanted to see Arnold Wesker. I think everyone would have wanted to as well. Maybe he can be supernatural and have the boss fight be a room full of dummies with guns and he can swap anytime and shoot or something.
In Arkham City, if you listen to GCPD Dispatch before going into the courthouse to save Catwoman, he has a reference.

Something about Maxie Zeus I discovered just last night is in Arkham Asylum, in that little Scarecrow cave under the elevators, if you look at the blueprint map stashed away there, you can see Maxie Zeus' location marked off, so this was either a very small little reference to the guy or they were originally going to have him play a part with Scarecrow in later games.

I would have loved to see Crazy Quilt or Penny Plunderer, the former even gets a easter egg in Arkham City with some thugs saying they think he was seen by the docks
They made some villains interesting in these game that weren’t, like Calendar Man and Riddler (before he made death traps) so I wonder what an actual threatening Crazy Quilt or Condiment Man would be like, or Egghead, I’m sure they could come up with something
have Reverse Flash up randomly, push Batman down the stairs and run off. No reason why, just because Eobard (in the comics) is a massive troll
Egghead: a depressed man who’s been mocked for his deformity his entire life who finally snaps and begins creating egg themed weaponry to get revenge on those who mocked him and mistreated him
Crazy Quilt: a man who was born colour blind who took part in an experimental process that would give him the ability to see colours only for the process to drive him mad and into a colour themed serial killer that Murders people so he can steal patches of their skin and dye it into a colourful quilt costume for himself
Penny Plunderer: a stock broker with a rich and lavish who lost his job and had to fight to keep as much money as possible whilst he was on the streets that decided to turn to petty crime so he can steal money and regain what he lost

As wacky as he is, I would have loved to see the Erasor be in the game, where he would work similar to the clean up crew in john wick where he would be hired to cover up other criminals crimes, and you would find him by finding very small marks of evidence left that would eventually lead back to him or one of the criminals who hired, who then leads you to him. I honestly feel they could pull the pencil suit off
I’m surprised no one has talked about Killer Moth, he was a secret bio to get in Arkham Asylum but they didn’t bother to put him in, it’s a real shame because I would have loved to see him in a game especially after Lego Batman.

I loved that Scarface kept making appearances, but disappointed the Ventriloquist never appeared.
Prometheus’s character reminds me of the mad hatter side mission in knight he would of been a good replacement. Also the clue master would of been an amazing help for the annoying riddler mission and In knight maybe towards the end he joins riddler and you have to find the rest of the riddles but you have a map or their locations

Should just make a game open city and release episodic content with a storyline for each criminal properly fleshed out storyline be kinda like playing a comic book I'd buy that

Yeah me too. Especially, after seeing how little they used him in The Animated Series. In fact, after watching Clock King's origin episode and Riddler’s too in the Series, I’m surprised the two never teamed up in an episode, since both are a lot alike (both want revenge on something that had to do with a company, both are pretty intelligent, both wear similar outfits (that is if you remove the color and switch out the purple mask and clock-glasses), and both in their first episode escaped capture). They might even almost defeat Batman with Clock King’s perfect timing and Riddler’s traps (he can even use the riddle Hickory Dickory Dock as part of the riddle). I actually think if the two teamed up in an Arkham video game, that would be real cool.
You can say to Arkham knight where hush and scarecrow didn’t even team up. Also other villains like ra al ghul and Damian could be in the game if the game didn’t take place in one night and over the span of 8 days.

One GIANT missed opportunity is not having Maxie Zeus. I feel as though he would have been better than Electrocutioner, with the outcome being the same. Or maybe a Solomon Grundy esque fight, with him having electricity powers.
1. *Tweedledee and Tweedledum* would've been cool to see working alongside Mad Hatter, mostly as henchmen type doing Jervis' dirty work.
2. *Killer Moth* would be cool as a joke villain that Batman seems unbothered by until he sees his transformation into Charaxes which was caused by a special batch of Titan sent by the Joker. Imagine an underground predator vs. prey challenge where Batman must rescue cocooned hostages while avoiding this monster. What a loss.
3. *The Ventriloquist and Scarface* would've been INSANE. There's so many ideas that could've been used.
4. *Roxy Rocket* While in Arkham City, Batman hacks into a TYGER radio frequency and learns that Roxy Rocket is planning an escape with equipment stolen from the Penguin. TYGER guards have her locked onto a rooftop and are instructed by Hugo Strange to kill her once she passes the borderline of the prison. While ultra boosting, Batman saves her just as her aircraft is destroyed by a homing missile.
5. *Cornelius Stirk* would've worked perfectly in Arkham Knight (mainly because of the M rating 😂) Throughout the city, there are corpses found with their chests mutilated and their hearts missing. (Read his wiki bio, it'll make more sense) His confrontation with Batman could be him disguising as Gordon or Robin and then he reveals his true form leading into a combat fight with this axe swinging cannibal 😌

Pretty sure everyone knows this but there are case files in Arkham Origins where it has 3 rejected Assasins which are Cheshire, David Kanye, and Black Spider. Those villains would’ve been so cool but instead we got Electrocutoner...
As someone who never played the remastereds I can honestly say I’m thankful, just seeing gameplay from this hurts my eyes.

Killer Moth - Kinda of like he was on the original Teen Titans show, but instead of having a legion of moths he has an armada of freaky henchmen dressed as moth creatures.
Ragdoll - They could have made this contortionist character extra creepy by have him not say anything at all, and have a reveal when Batman takes off his mask that the villain had stitched his own mouth shut.
Polka-Dot Man - Have him be a mentally unhinged criminal who gets fed up with being bullied and mocked by other criminals for having a silly name and costume. So he goes around killing C & D list Batman villains as a way of trying to be taken seriously.
Lady Arkham from Telltale Batman was an amazing villian and I really hope we see her more. Her motives and execution of her plan in that game was so well written I would love to see another studio/writer give their take on her.
I dunno. I thought that was in interesting take on the Batman mythos with Vicki Vale being a villain created by Thomas Wayne's evilness, but I don't think I'd want that story in the main Arkham continuity unless they changed who Lady Arkham was and her motivation.
As someone else already said, I think her being Vicki Vale doesnt work in any continuity except for the telltale games. She would be cool if they change her identity, and probably the motivations as well, because that was very specific for the telltale games.
Nah. That was good for a one off/What If twist. But don’t think I’d want more out of it. Telltale Batman was a unique experiment tho. Lady Arkham could only work if someone else took the role.
The court of owls was created in 2011 by Scott Synder and Greg capullo in their first comic run on Batman in the new 52. Arkham asylum came out in 2009 and Arkham city in 2011 I believe. So Arkham knight would have been good to have them in there but they were still fairly new back then.. The court of owls is still my favourite Batman story of all time
How great would a Rocksteady Batman Beyond game have been? Jokerz running around the streets, Spellbinder boss fights similar to that of Scarecrow in Asylum, a Curare fight that would involve a lot of quick thinking to dodge multiple sword attacks and counter, Inque I imagine would probably be similar to the Ivy fight. I think Blight would be the final boss and they could work something out with that but most of all, just being able to cut about the streets of Neo Gotham would be incredible.
Instead they making suicide squad when they could make batman Beyond arkham or a justice league game
My favorite Riddler storyline of all time is Detective Comics 705-707 where he straps a bomb to Cluemaster and forces Batman to carry him around the city solving his riddles. Cluemaster begs for his life and apologizes for being a rip off, but Riddler just laughs and calls him an embarrassing wannabe, not competition. It's a great run!
I would've liked to see Clock King. I think they could've built some cool puzzles where time slowed or sped up during the fight with him.

I think Prometheus should have been an Arkham Origins Deathstroke type fight but more intense, preferably in Knight. Scarface would have been perfect for Asylum and it would have been a perfect crazy horror mission. Hush is another one that I wish would have been involved more deeply. I think that someone like Deathstroke should have been used better in Knight, I felt it was cheap. The Court would have been perfect in Origins or Knight, I can't decide which.
I’d love it Maxie Zeus appeared in origins as a side mission we put him away and it opens open the door for all references we got. I just don’t understand how didn’t get Scarface though that hurts.
I know and that other villains like Ratcatcher should been in Arkham city or Arkham knight that’s something I wanted to see a side mission.
Cluemaster to tell you the truth feels like a Riddler copycat
I would like to see a video game that has Owlman in it, but multiverse elements can make a narrative less cohesive. If the Arkham series was going to take a risk, I would suggest having the Jokester as the main playable character with Owlman as the villain.

Magpie and Flamingo. Magpie could have been a cool chase level like Blackcat in Spider-Man games. Plus her Wolverine claws and speed could make a fast melee boss Battle like Deathstroke in AO. Flamingo is a weapon nut (whips, pistols, knives, and sniper rifle) so that would definitely make a fun fight.
Scarface (the doll) shows up a little more often in ArkAsyl than at the end. He subs (performed by the Joker) for the warden's announcements during one of the Scarecrow missions (the finale if I recall correctly).

Any anti-batman villain would've been awesome, they could have made the fight really cool by having them mirror your gadgets, techniques and possibly favoured strategies you used throughout the game and make you think outside the box as to how you would take yourself down

Hey Jay, just wondering, how tf have you grown so much. Last year when i found your channel you were at 2k subs and now your at 60k? If anyone deserves it, its you!
How they could have introduced scarface/ the ventriloquist. Have a side quest of several murders and disappearances. Turns out the ventriloquist "lost" scarface and a new puppet has taken control. The new personality chopped up the body of scarface and placed the fragments into the murdered bodies while the ventriloquist is in a coma like state. Soon batman puts scarface back which whispered to him telling him the location of the ventriloquist.
The Joker:

I think they definitely should've use'd the court of owls in arkham knight as a continuum to the the game like a DLC story& black mask to i can't remember if you actually see him involved with the rock steady arkham games but black mask is one to maybe as a robin or another batgirl dlc mission. I find It’s strange that they added firefly but not killer moth cuz firefly was killer moths protege and their were hints of him in Arkham asylum

I would've loved to have seen a Batman: Arkham depiction of Baby Doll. I think she fits perfectly in that universe.

Clayface was in concept art in knight but sadly he didn’t make into the final product

@degenerate jay if you're still doing hidden easter eggs, don't think youve mentioned it, but Hush (Tommy Elliot) is in the church in Arkham City, he's the one on the stretcher holding that box, the doctor helping him mentions that he cut his own face off and if you go back once the Hush mission is activated, he's no longer there
Tbh Prometheus would of been a great main Villan in Knight
I think Prometheus would've made for a cool Deathstroke style boss fight definitely a wasted opportunity. He would've also been cool to play as. Great White Shark was another wasted opportunity, included as a character bio in Asylum but never makes an appearance.

The biggest mistake (in my opinion) was using Professor Pig instead of Dollmaker. Could have been the same general story, I just think Dollmkaker is significantly creepier

Another missing villain I think she could’ve interesting to see but was forgotten and her side mission could’ve celebrities and actors she captured and Batman has to save them.
