I’ve only had my Juki DX 4000 since March. I really like it and have already gotten used to using the double foot pedal, programming mine for raising and lowering the foot pedal when I want to keep my hands on the material. Great machine! I purchased mine from a local dealer in VA, but I’ve watched many of your videos prior to purchasing, and still do. I went ahead and printed off my own copy of the manual for times when our internet was slow in responding. I just like having a printed version.

What a fun video to watch....since David is unboxing MY machine. When I bought it on Friday, Boki told me I was getting the one David had used for the video :-) I'm loving it so far and working on learning lots! I will be printing a copy of the manual because I'm old-school enough to want one in my hand.

I just wish the manual would be printed cause when l’m sewing I keep Manuel’s close by for an emergency quick look! It’s not convenient to leave my work open the file on my computer and keep scrolling till I get what I’m looking for! I even bookmark with tabs for different sections that I would use more often for quick reference! You may think I’m lazy but believe me when I’m at my sewing desk it saves so much time when I have the physical manual! Specially when you’re spending at least $1500 and up! They should at least make it an option to order from the company! Thanks 😊❤❤

Hi, I just’ve got mine Juki Kokochi, and it’s beautiful, but I really don’t understand why it makes not accurate start of stitching? It makes nasty knot on the wrong side of the fabric (if start stitching without taking the bobbing stitch up).
It’s confusing me a lot! And, additionally, the bobbing thread often goes through the 5-10 stitches on the wrong side of the fabric. And it looks not nice at all.
All the other features are perfect - this is only one concern for me.
That's standard for all drop in bobbin cutting system sewing machines.
When you select lock stitch on the screen select it twice to select micro stitch which will give you a smaller knot at the beginning of your stitch and end. I hope this helps.

Soorrry i thouched x button. Does the machine have an adapter. High shank? Universal? So i can use orher feet i have with my other mchines? Juki, Janome. singer, etc? No one seems to anwer these questions….
You can try to snap them on to the shank and see but there is no guarantee for fitment with out brand accessories. There is a high shank adapter but its for the Juki FMQ for this machine :)
Maybe youuu can haul this beast around as a travel machine 😂 And why am I watching an unboxing of a machine I unboxed a year ago 🤪 I didn’t get a thank you card. 🥺
Haha just to make sure you unboxed it correctly! You didn't get a card?! :/ We must've either ran out or it slipped out because that is apart of our packing process on all machines... Occasionally we do run out maybe that's why :) If you would like one I would be happy to make a super cute one just for you. Send us a email with your order number!

I have only owned a JUKI (TL-18)since Feb 2024. This model looks very appealing. What model of Janome would this be similar to? I have and older MC9900
