Sadly, this isn't an isolated case. This is a very big reason that identity theft is so prevalent. And to think that in the Tampa area alone, there has been nearly a half billion dollars scammed over a two year period. Yes, IRS fraud is a major problem.

You should have to go to the post office and show your I.D. to pick up your refund if it's over $1,000 or you've changed your address in the last year. End of Problem. Looks like that would save $100 per taxpayer and endless headaches for those whose I.D. has been taken.

This is pennies compared to the people I used to work for. Curbs plus in Ringgold, Ga rings out millions over a 20 year period. Millions! There are 5 dead associated with their tax crimes, billionaires have the ability to have freinds in the Fbi. There crimes go unpunished.

I met Beth Tucker from the IRS at the American Payroll Congress in May 2012 in Florida. She struck me as little more than a bobblehead.

Well, dear lady, tell the taxpayers they have to have a checking account, period. They tell SS recipients they must have a bank account for automatic deposit. Sounds like a feeble excuse to me.

Once the government spot those who are certified to doing taxes. They need to do an immediately background check on the clients. Cause some are on welfare receiving food stamps and has liked about working and owning a business. There should be know sympathy behind a female doing wrong. Using excuses as bipolar, among other things as to be a reason someone wrong doing. ijs.
