I’m in my junior year of college to become an elementary school teacher. I’ve always wanted to teach abroad! The students are so engaged. Your videos are so interesting. I can’t wait to have a classroom of my own :)
you should come to Vietnam one day , my country on the way to developing very rapidly and we need some people like you to teach our kids . Vietnam will reward you for what you deserve .
You gave me hope. And made me smile throughout the video. You're such a great teacher. You hyped me so much for my demo class. Those students are very lucky.
I've watched different videos like this one,I have seen native American teachers who don't know how to teach , it's just that they were native American speakers but not competitive in teaching children.I think Asians are the best,he is a Filipino I'm sure
@@carolinaestrada4624 Hi, Carolina. First of all, thank you for watching my videos and for appreciating what I do. Regarding the question whether we are given lesson plans and materials here in China, some schools do provide everything from main materials to lesson plans, however some don't...like the schools I'm working in, they provide the main material but I plan my lessons to fit the needs and learning styles of my students. Normally, at the beginning of the semester, I prepare a flexible lesson plan to test the level of the students. The lesson covers a wide range of vocabulary so as to know how much the students know already and which ones should be focused on. From there, I begin to write and plan my succeeding lessons. :)
Hi Bradley , can you share some more tips? I've been confused on what to teach ,should i start with vocabularies first? I really don't know if i'll start with abc, shapes,colors...i'm confused pls help me.
Your teaching methods are amazing, never seen someone have such an energetic vibe before. It must be hard to maintain that energy until the end of the lesson
Hi, Muhammad my friend. Thank you very much for your comment. Yeah, it is indeed very hard to maintain that level of energy in class, but it is a job I love to do and I am very lucky to be doing it.
Aww. Thank you, Pamela. I have another video here on CZcams with a different level of students. Here's the link, czcams.com/video/nC_nGlregx8/video.html I would also love to see your videos if you have any recorded classes. :)
Who would put a thumbs down to this video? These might just be people who are full of hatred in their minds and hearts and definitely knew nothing about teaching the right and most effective way :) Kabayan, I love how you did the teaching! I wish I got to watch this vid a long time ago, I would have copied the "Yum Yum" Trick in one of my lessons :) I was an ESL teacher for all levels too in China and so I know I would never be wrong to say that you are doing a real good job in teaching these Chinese kids. That's the right approach to teach 'em, the ONLY way, actually, to get them learning easily and with willingness to ever learn English again. Keep it up! I hope you're safe from this COVID-19 right now. God bless!
@@ryl1779 Awww. This is sooo sweet! Thank you very much.
