Cheap & Simple Window Shades for Car Camping

I used this Reflectix from Amazon: amzn.to/3UN6svq
It's 10 feet and was JUST ENOUGH to cover all the windows on my SUV.
These DIY windows covers are noticeable from the exterior but there are ways to make them pure black. They also keep the car very insulated for car camping in different climates.

I don't get it. The shades are meant to be removable, right? How do they stick to the windows??

That is correct. They stay in place simply through pressure against the edges of the window. This is why they can't be cut too much and it's better to leave a little bit extra along the edges of the Reflectix. Are you doing car camping/living too?
