Today we install new RVG Performance LED Headlights on my 2011 BMW 535i N55.

Hello, I have a big question, I bought a damaged BMW M5 F10 2013 (phase 1) with the same headlights xenon as you. The 2 headlights are broken, so I took the opportunity to replace them and put those of the BMW M5 F10 Phase 2 (Full LED original BMW), do you know if the original BMW LED headlights are also plug on play as the ones you bought? My headlights are adaptive and the ones you fitted from the stores in your description are not. Thank you for your attention and have a nice day
The Orginal BMW LED Headlights are not plug and play for a non LCI car. My initial plan was to install the same OEM BMW LED Headlights, but after researching I found that it would take extensive wiring and coding to fit them to my pre LCI f10.
Hay man, I have 2015/528i/F10 with AFS Head Lights, technician here in Toronto told me I cant install the LED head lights as they are not AFS Compatible. I see you are coding for your installation. When you install LED lights your car will need to be coded for the LED lights. AFS is. It an option on the Aftermarket LED lights I have found.

I have these headlights and today the driver side headlights are now dimmer than the passenger side (the rings to be specific) hope this doesn’t happen to u as rvg is charging $400 for labor and hasn’t gotten back to me about the cost of parts to fix it

My 2014 f10 lci adaptive LEDs finally failed. The seals will fail and it will get filled with water.... such great headlights but just not built to last more than 10 years

How have the lights held up? Have they had a moisture get inside have any of the lights went out?
The light have been perfect. Not a single issue, however do keep in mind, my car lives in the garage and see‘s limited miles. I think it has sat outside overnight twice in the last 2 years.

Yes, the coding was the only thing necessary.
You can also try to code the headlights with Bimmercode. It may work, but I’m not sure. I had RVG performance code my headlights.

All a matter of opinion. I feel like the light output is very similar. Although, I really don't drive my car at night much anymore.
Thank you, that cutoff comparison reassured me that this is a waste of money and chinese light will never work as well as the OEM. They do look nice, but they are not brighter and you lose the AFS function, so I guess it comes down to whether you're looking for performance or looks.
Depends on who you ask. The cutoff in the video was actually before aiming the headlight. I love them!

Grant, you can really step up your game by showing all the R&R work. Your videos will be longer, but more informative. That said, keep up the good work! Also, are these lights still adaptive?
Sorry I missed this message. I thought about showing more of the process, but it seem most people are only watching the first 2 - 3 minutes of each video anyway. It makes it so that CZcams won't even recommend the videos because of the watch percentages. Then I just feel like I'm wasting my time with extra footage.
Nope, as far as I am aware. All of the aftermarket LED headlights will remove the adaptive feature.

I have JB4, switching to MHD. Car has not been running well with jb4 and nearly impossible to get customer support. Other guys I talked to and a turbo shop recommend MHD.
Yeah, I switched to MHD and I am running a custom tune from David Shoup. Shoup has done a great job on the car, I plan to do a Dyno day in the fall.

I have looked into the white tail lights. I was considering the smoked GTS look.

Yes. The LCI steering wheel will fit all f10’s. I’ve sold quite a few of them.

Sorry, I’m not understanding your question? Are you referring to adding oil between oil changes. I’m running a 5w/40 FCP oil change kit and I typically don’t have to add oil between oil changes, but I do my oil changes every 3500 miles since I run an E50 blend.

Man, the LED’s look great in person and the visibility is excellent. It’s even better then the video shows. At the time of the recording, I hadn’t aimed the LED lights.

Actually, I sold my stock headlights the same week I installed the LEDs.
Are these OEM headlights or are they aftermarket? If they are aftermarket will the OEM headlights fit straight in on the pre LCI do you know?
These are aftermarket lights sold through RVG Performance. OEM headlights will fit on Pre LCI cars however they are not plug and play. From what I understand the OEM lights will take extensive wiring and coding to function properly.
