Faye was so powerful she even calmed Kratos. That's the power of a redhead, FELLAS
Automatic good day because Jon ford dropped a gow video 🍻
Considering both what those who knew her and those who knew by her reputation have said about her, as well as what the Jotnar prophecies said. It seems Faye was caught between a rock and a hard place. Going against her fate caused great suffering for her friends and allies, death for many she didn't even know. Accepting her prophecy meant leaving Kratos dead and their son under Odin's iron fist. So either before or shortly after meeting Kratos, Faye worked in secret to better Kratos and Atreus's chances for a brighter future( which might've been one of the reasons her own life was cut short in my opinion. )
I am still in the boat of thinking that the prophecy that she was told was a lie in order for her to go against it and set the events of the games in motion. Just like the prophecy told to Atreus was a lie in order for him to do what he does. When in reality the only prophecy that was true was the one at the end of the game that angraboda shows them. Manipulation at its finest
Great to see u back making goated gow content👍🏿🔥
Great video Jon. Hope you're doing well ❤
Faye and thrud have very similar hair. Almost like they are related
We need a prequel game with faye and thor as playable characters
Thor slaughtering giants would be great dlc in god of war 3 style
No we don't need no fkn prequels, we need to move forward. Theres a prequel epidemic going on in games, tv, movies, fucck that man
But we need to what happened to other gods like vidar, forsetti etc. And Who blew the horn 📯
@MrHunnyBunny529 honest I agree 👍 💯
I still think we need a god of war Prequel with Faye Going to town on the other gods
Odin told loki that thor was half gaint so what if fay and thor are half brother and sister or full blooded lol
Yoooo
Great video as always! I'd also like to to ask something i recently noted: at the end of God of War 2018, Mimir tells Kratos that he somehow started Fimbulvinter 100 years earlier than it was originally prophetised, but i don't quite understand how this should fit in Ragnarok's plot; in the 2022 game everything goes accordingly to Groa's true prophecy and, if I'm not mistaken, nobody ever states that Ragnarok is starting earlier than anticipated. Did Groa also lie about when Ragnarok would have started, so Mimir incorrectly thought that it was starting earlier than expected, or is it simply a retcon? What do you guys think about it? Thanks!
The "true, secret" prophecies already a retcon on itself. Of course Mimir was talking about the prophecy he did knew about, but now it's not relevant anymore, we have new ones, hooray.
But also, the Giants weren't the only ones who can make prophecies. The Norns also could. But anyway, everyone forgot that "the prophecy didn't count on you", as Mimir said to Kratos.
@@CoolSaver Exactly what I thought, although they did manage to incorporate all the "secret prophecy" stuff organically in the story, sadly the same can't be said about this particular plot point. It is by all means something they likely choose to ignore when, during development, Ragnarok's story went in a certain direction, and it really goes to show how many times the story was reviewed and rewritten.
Also, it's kind of ironic: in 2018, Mimir said "prophecy didn't count on you", when in Ragnarok the prophecy counts precisely on him since the beginning!
@@alexg.6803 last sentence - my thoughts exactly. But i'm not sure if the story was rewritten, seems more like many shortcuts were used (which is obvious), and because of that they needed to ignore or retcon some stuff. It's okay overall, considering what they were trying to achieve, not that big of a deal (well, for me anyways).
make a video of why Kratos doesn't use his knife for combat💀😂
Faye failed , what chance does Atreus have
Hey can I join your discord server when I tried to join it says it's expired.
Loki’s sequel is the prequel….think on it
Make a video about what happened to Odin's animals, his wolves and his horse Sleipnir and also Thor's animals his Goats and also Freyr Gullinbursti's boar
and also make a video about how the Baby Kraken the Durlin dwarf's animal can become the Creature Kraken we know and fight him and also what happened to the Dragons Fafnir and his Brothers What We freed and where they are? 🤔😁👍 Like and Bye!
That and where are the brothers of Odin
I like how ambiguous her intentions are with Kratos, considering everything we know about her people and her fight with Aesir. Even Freya talks about it, thinking it was her plan to pit Kratos with the Aesir, knowing HE can win this war and help her people.
What i think though, it wasn't her main intentions, but it was in part. Don't forget that everything (except Ragnarök) Kratos did was defending himself and his son. She knew that the Gods eventually will find Kratos, she just made sure it wasn't too late, so that someone is still remain to help them.
BUT, if she knew living here is dangerous and that eventually Thor or Baldur will come knocking on the door, why wouldn't she tell that to Kratos, why wouldn't they move somewhere else? That's where her warrior and Giant's part plays. She just couldn't leave her home and people to die. War of Kratos with Aesir wasn't her primal intention, but staying here she knew it will happen, and she hoped her family will be ready at the time, both physically and mentally (have the righteous intent "to be better"), and so she orchestrated the things as much as she could to help them be ready.
So in part, yeah, she put Kratos on the war, by not telling him the full picture, by not moving anywhere else like the Giants did btw. But the alternative would be to run and abandon her home and people. It was a very hard choice to make, so i can't really blame her. The main reason of a war are still the Aesir and not Faye, if anything she would've fight that war herself, only to keep her family safe.
she played him 😂
@@risky2075 it's hard not to think so sometimes
I think thor & freya was related
Faye was a strong, smart lady and all that but she's nothing but condescending towards Kratos. Makes him feel guilty and enlightening at the sane time.
How did she die
