After using uworld twice and failing, I never knew i could ever pass the NCLEX but today I am very happy, I just passed my NCLEX on my third attempt with a great help from Miss ELISABETH HELEN.❤️❤️❤️
Thanks to my friend that introduce me to her last week. Am happy the way she process her materials and how you will prepare yourself too for your coming exams. Even with the New update That’s coming up soon, She gave me me a clue of how the exam might come up for me and how I need to study Incase I schedule my test any time.
Wow!!!! congrats and thanks for the encouragement words for all the people who have not take the NCLEX yet. yes, it is a crazy test for sure. I also used Mrs ELISABETH HELEN review material's. - I studied for 1 week and my test shut off at question 85. I cried too when I got my results. PASS
My first experien ftce with her gave me the assurance that has made me recommend her to my friends without fear of them failing, i got four of my friends involved with her already🤗💯

I quit my Dream job as a mother/baby nurse and became a school nurse. Best thing I’ve done for me and my family. It’s my second year and I have no regrets. Little stress, no nights no weekends, off all holidays and for weather. I think you are going to love it.
What did you not like about mother/baby nursing?
@@kayleightrinh66 I loved it! I just couldn’t continue doing 12hr shifts and missing out on family. I left to have a lifestyle that was healthier, happier and more sustainable for my family and myself. I work PRN as a school nurse now and I love it. Management is great! Everyone is different so what works for me might not work for others. I create my work schedule around my family life.

I’m a type one diabetic and so when I was in school I had to see the school nurse daily. I still remember the amazing school nurses that I grew up with to this day. I know you’ll make the same impact on your kiddos! Congrats 🎉

My school nurse too! My school nurse growing up was later on my son's school nurse too in the same school and she was amazing, so yes school nurses make an imapct
Congrats! I've been a school nurse for 12 years and I love it! I work at a K-8 school and both of my children went there. It was wonderful being so close to them. School nursing is the perfect work-life balance nursing job. Hope it's going well for you!

I did a rotation in nursing school with a school nurse in an inner city school. The relationship the nurse had with the students was the most incredible relationship I’ve ever seen. You will love this opportunity and building relationships with these kiddos. Congratulations!!!
Awesome! I just know this will be such a great decision for you. I had kind of a similar experience with hospital burnout my first year of nursing. I switched to outpatient pediatric dermatology and I honestly love it so much. The consistency, work life balance, the patients etc. I’m excited for this experience for you! ❤

Hey Madi I’m a nurse and a midwife in Australia and I now work only on a casual basis and day shift only. This way I have complete control over my work life and can achieve a great work/life balance. Enjoy your new position
Aww congrats on the new job! I’m a school nurse, going to start my 4th year this upcoming school year. It’s so different from any other type of nursing but I love it. Being a medical professional in the education field can be rough sometimes. Just remember, you’re the professional and expert in the field and don’t let anyone doubt your decisions.

I left L&D bedside in 2021 and went to school nursing. I LOVE it! I’m with middle and high schoolers. My most challenging student this past year was newly diagnosed with T1D. It took a lot of energy getting into a routine but now it’s not that bad. You’re going to love it!
Let that be a lesson to us all.! We all should do what we need to do to take care of our health and ourselves! My job laid me off in April and its been 3 months and i am the most healthist i have ever been in my life. I focused on my nutrition and exercise, and my mental health. I now sleep 7 plus hours a day, i lost 5 pounds, and my anxiety is non existent. Amazing what a shift in life can do for us when we think its all bad, when reality better things were around the corner! Let this be a sign to us all to do things that we need to do this life to take care of ourselves
Congratulations!! I'll be starting my 13th year as an elementary school nurse this August. I left June last year for a hospital job & hated it. Yes, the pay is not nearly as good as a hospital job, but with the time off you can't beat it. You will definitely get "Oh you're not a real nurse," but you see much more than people think. :)

Long time subscriber, first time commenter. I was a School Health Aide for almost a year! I loved it so much! After nursing school I am planning on doing school nursing because I enjoyed it so much! It can be a lot, but it is so enjoyable! Better hours and it’s nice to be free during the summer. You can always do resource somewhere for the summer and set your own schedule. I think you will do great! ❤

I was recently on the Oncology Floor for 2 days and one thing I noticed that there were all young nurses on the floor and only one mature nurse. I also noticed how unfriendly the nurses seemed and unhappy. It was palatable.

I was lucky enough my last semester of school i was placed at a high school for community health. Although I was there every friday for a couple of months, i loved it!! The kids were great and i was sad to go because you really bond with them. Not sure i can do 5 day a week workweek but im so happy you found something you love❤

While I was doing my bridge program (RN to BSN) I also took on a very low stress job and it was the best decision and way to ease into nursing. I did eventually go to a hospital but by that time, I felt more comfortable as my role as a nurse and wanted the challenge.

I have watched many of your videos over the past few years. Like you, I was going through similar feelings of pressure on myself, spread too thin etc. I quit working at a nursing home and took time to heal emotionally and have found a new job in primary care. The hours/ routine has been beneficial for my mental health and I’m sure you will feel that way too. (New nurses/ finding our right fit) :) it’s been a blessing to go to weekly therapy appts and I like that you mentioned that in this video. I’m happy for you. Sending you love and light🤍

Yay congrats!! I was kinda expecting something peds related tbh. But be ready to hand out lots of ice packs, kids love to visit the nurses office for that. You also become their personal therapist and you start noticing a trend. I did half my peds rotation w/ a school nurse & saw how divorce/separation or domestic abuse would affect the children a lot. You see a lot of regressions, or them coming in saying their tummies hurt, feeling super anxious only to find out it’s bc of stuff going at home. The middle school kids are tough lol I was scared of them esp me being like 5’2 & most were taller, they’re also least compliant w/ their meds like their insulin so it’s a lot of parenting where you have to be like “hey what did we talk about last time” but I have no doubt the kids will love you! Can’t wait for your future vlogs
